What type of loom is this?
I am not 100% certain, but it looks like it is a Macomber loom, made by a small company not too far up the coast from Nantucket in southern Maine.
As I guy, I'd love to learn how to use this 'machine' which is all out ancestors had before modern machinery and mass production came about. Beautiful finish and great for natural living ( which is where we're heading again.
i love the beautiful creamy color and I bet it feel very soft. What brand loom was that? It looked like a serious production loom :-)

As far as I know the western Cape of South Africa, is the biggest Mohair supplies in the world.

I love your videos and watch them over and over. There is something so very peaceful about them. After watching one of your videos on mohair throws I became intrigued about weaving, long story short I bought a floor loom, took a class on weaving from a local weaving studio and aspire to create hopefully something as lovely as yours. Ty for these beautiful videos and makes.
