Faith in the Workplace | Part Two - The Link Podcast
Most of us spend over a third of our lives at work. And if you think about it, you spend over half of your waking hours each week with the people you work with. So, how do we leverage this time in the workplace to bring glory to God? How do we share our faith with our co-workers? In part two of our "Faith in the Workplace" series, Pastor Chris sits down with Joanna Meyer from the Denver Institute for Faith and Work to talk about how we can be a godly influence in our workplace!
Join us for part three next week!

We live in a world where we hang on the words of our favorite celebrity or influencer. If they say we should get this product, we buy it. If they say we should do XYZ, we do it. But is this really who we should be listening to? Should we take every word they say as truth even Christian influencers and Pastors? On this episode of Everyday Theology, Ravae shares with us some of the dangers that c...

This was a great conversation. Pastor Brooks, you took a sabbatical? Now that is amazing!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Watching from Brazil , this amazing preaching of word of God . God bless Pastor Christian and loved church.
The why is important. Why would God do this? Why did he even let us live if he knew? Don't try and put yourself in God's place.
This guy really needs to read the Bible and pull from scripture instead of superimposing his beliefs under the umbrella of biblical reference. Deuteronomy chronicles the time spent in the wilderness where God was training up a new generation of Israelites that would follow His instructions. Some of the Hebrews were so rebellious, God wiped them out. He's correct in saying God was fed up with people in Deuteronomy, but it had nothing to do with the Tower of Babel, and most certainly nothing to do with spiritual beings. The Hebrews were "a stiffnecked people", not demonically influenced. Those 2 time periods were hundreds of years apart.
He didn't talk about the journey of the Israelites in Deuteronomy, he references Deuteronomy to explain more context that the Bible gives about what happened at the tower of Babel in Genesis. I think you heard it wrongly.
What I am saying here is I pulled directly from Scripture. Deuteronomy 32:8 - 9 says "When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. 9 But the Lord's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage. This passage references back to the division of mankind at the Tower of Babel to show how God had chosen Israel as his people. The term "sons of God" appears in the OT as a reference to spiritual beings.
@MrJacobley I appreciate your interpretation of the phrase 'sons of God'.. There have been many attempts to read into scripture rather than letting scripture speak for itself. I have heard people discuss the Nephilim and who or what they may have been. Nobody can truly answer the Nephilim question. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Occam's razor or not. Simply put, the simplest solution is very often the correct one. Genesis 6:4 is where 'sons of God' is seen. My interpretation of that is simply denoting a separation between the Godly line of Seth and Adam's other sons and daughters. All people are spiritual beings, because we have a soul. Some are Godly and some are not. When scripture notes the separation between humans and sons of God, and says that they were intermarrying, I think that the non-Seth clan was not pleasing to God. They were just humans that upset God, and He would later destroy. The Tower of Babel has a similar overtone. The people of the world were becoming arrogant. He made a covenant that he wouldn't destroy the world again by water, so he confused the languages. This set apart the people that would become Israel.
Sounds like what's happening now. Omg we are doomed. Jesus is really at the door.
dude literally doesn't understand what a scientific theory is.
Great analogy with forkie!! So relatable
Oneness believers must accept this unbiblical statement! On the last day, Holy Spirit must come out from believers and go back to heaven to become Jesus Christ again to come back here on earth for His believers on His second coming but no one has His Holy Spirit in them on that day! Shall Christ must become Holy Spirit again to enter into His dead and alive believers when He return for them to become His again? But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:9
I listened to audio Bible repeatedly using my common sense correctly and the outcome was to believe the Triune God!

Thank you so much for this precision. I come from a part of the world that speaks French and this analogy to the “baptism of the Holy Spirit” is often misunderstood for considering that there is a second baptism happening after being born again. In fact, this podcast clarifies very clearly the difference between being baptized and being filled. Incredible explanation and thanks for making me feel hungry and willing to taste that famous Nueske bacon 😅😂. Be blessed
Thanks so much for the kind words! We are glad this encouraged you!
Amen!
This was an amazing service, looking forward to the entire series.
So grateful I found this Church! I’ve been attending in person for 8 weeks, but online longer. The Christmas program was amazing and the sermons are always great and thought provoking. Can’t wait until I find a life group that fits 😊

God bless brother. What a brave thing you are doing. And what an insightful lady she is.
It's a shame this man is reinforcing the stereotype against my christian friends, who are intelectuals. Just wow.
The shepherds were watching their sheep. That's a hint. They only did that when they were ready to give birth. The angel appeared to the shepherds at night which would mean Jesus was born around April 1st.
As an older woman and saved by grace, I am learning not to focus on the circumstances . Yes, I'm running to Christ Instead of my short comings.
Please pray that we can Get Basic tools
Amen 🎉
There is Not a single person in Pakistan who does a religious or Christian podcast with pastors or churches if anyone starts here He will generate lots of revenue from TH-cam videos
When I make moral judgements I first judge according to my personal understanding of right and wrong. If an action is done by people who have died, I mainly seek to understand. Condemning their actions is pointless, especially doing so by my standards. If I can have a conversation with something I consider wrong is done by a living person, I'm far more interested in having a conversation with them to understand what they consider right and wrong. If it turns out their actions are inconsistent with their own standards, then I will call them out. If other people's standards of right and wrong differ from my own that doesn't necessarily make them evil. They could be evil according to my standards, but it is not fair to condemn them by my standards. However, they could still be evil by their own standards. As far as I am concerned, people whose standards of right and wrong differ from mine are untrustworthy.
Swearing is swearing, no matter the content.
Excellent message and series!
Anyone who uses this quote from Darwin to disprove evolution, didn’t read Darwin’s book, because he addresses this issue later in the book. It might be the same chapter if I’m remembering correctly. So it’s the most blatant example of quote mining out there
Exodus 20:5 The sins of the father are visited upon the children. Parents often have a role in anxiety and depression. A baby can inherit a mother's anxiety ( often from her own childhood trauma)in the womb, changing normal neural pathways. Abuse and neglect can basically do the same thing in childhood. The culture can add extra trauma at any age. There are many so shades of grey in the psychological realm.
Myth (imagination) being integral to the Christian faith is what Tolkien and Dyson convinced Lewis of on Addison's walk and prompted Tolkien to write Mythopoeia to immortalize thier conversation that tipped the scales to Lewis' conversion.
AMEN!!!🙏❤️❤️❤️
It is factually incorrect that the Emperor Constantine assigned a birth date of December 25th. We have records of an early Christian from the 2nd Century that said Jesus was born on December 25th based on, according to his research, the fact that He was conceived on March 25th. Constantine had absolutely nothing to do with the date.
Much needed Word
YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK OF ENOCH // THEY ARE IN THE BIBLE// BUT THE WORD DINOS IS A NEW WORD LESS THAN 200 YEAR OLD // THEY HAD A DIFFERENT NAME BOEEMOUTHS // LEVITHINGS // WE STILL HAVE SOME LOOK UP KMOTO DRAGON //// HOWEVER THEY ARE NOT BIRDS
Honest question Hiw do I forgive someone that keeps trying to kill and or harm me.
Set boundaries , mental health is also important. Forgiveness does not mean to reconciliation.
