You forgot to unplugged the slicer to clean it , for safety.

thank you so much for this video, I have my first opening shift today in over a year and I had just realized I forgot how to sharpen slicers😅

This is different then our slicer at the restaurant I work at. Our slicer is a Globe slicer and has little grinding wheels that you position over the blade and press onto it using a knob. It doesn’t require a separate tool to sharpen. But our slicer is vintage from the 1970s so perhaps it’s different from modern ones.

Hi, there is wrong adjusted sharpener. Stones at position 0 cannot touch the blade.

I need to do this more often.
