hey dude, I'm not familiar with you or your content, to be honest, but for some reason this ended up in my TH-cam algorithm (maybe you greatest SUCCESS was leaning into clickbait style titles haha), but I'm glad I watched this. I definitely like hearing the thought processes behind 'why' of things. I don't typically search for tutorials as my preferred hobby content, because I'm on my own path, developing my own style, and not usually seeking to replicate others, but hearing about the /thought process/ is actually really helpful and interesting. I really enjoyed this style of video and did a full watch. I think you make some really good points and I agree with you on many of them. I am a new content creator as well and it is often hard to separate what I like to do versus what I think the audience wants me to do. The Emperor's Children are also one of my favorite chaos chapters and if I get some of the new models, I am using purple since it is my favorite color, lol. Keep up the good work!

Recently I've come to realise that I've had a major lapse in judgement because of a character flaw. This can happen to anyone, especially artists of any kind. Tbh i hate the new ec stuff i have been collecting these guys for years and i am so disappointed with the mangina old greg fulgrim and new marines look bad im gonna stick with generic marines and paint to improve my numbers worse release out of all 4 chaos especially after the hh version was as good

Lahmian mediumm is also very useful for fixing times where there is too much wash and it dries chalky. Can save a mini that seems to be a lost cause. Really like your use of it though!

Golden Demon is based on a system of 1-2-3. if you decide to participate, you should be aware that there is only 1st, second and third place. And it is ok. Yes, Golden Demon is judged by a few people and nobody seems to know what kind of criteria they are judging. But even that, we should respect those decisions and not question why they have chosen one piece over another one. If competition is important to you, you should seek other kinds of contests. Some are based on an open system that will favor your level of achievement based on you and your work. It's a competition against you. They will evaluate your work and see if you achieve a certain level in different aspects of the hobby, like the blending, the composition of your piece, the fact that you have cleaned all the mold lines, etc... And you will get gold, silver, bronze or some kind of a special mention for your work. It will favor the level of work that you have achieve and it is possible to have multiple gold or silver or bronze. Usually if you get a gold, you are on the top level and that is quite hard to achieve. In the end, for me, Golden Demon is a place where people can see magnificent art pieces. Even if you don't win something, I think you can enjoy the weekend and above all, you can share your passion and gain some new techniques and see how you can improve your skills. Golden Demon will always bring the best in me and because of that, I'm already a winner!!!

As someone making Freebooters and has this kit I adore some of your ideas! I never thought to move the driver or give it a mast! The most I was planning was to paint "Sweet Potato" like a Shark, but now I know I can do so much more!

Ork kits should just be 50% to 75% of what the kit needs, and the rest you have to come up with yourself.
