Recently had the shorty headers removed and replaced it with Borla LT XR1 headers, no cats, and x-pipe mated to Corsa Extremes.

How do install the batteries in the scanner?
That change probably gave 0 horsepower more. Complete long tube headers only give about 15 to 20 hp increase.

Catless as the headers came with a catless X pipe
So save my money and continue to use a paper clip
Could you notice a big power increase ?
I would say it was more or less a moderate power increase. It was noticeable, but nothing to write home about. However, after the tune is when it really woke up.
@@txslow6 thanks for replay just picked up 03 zo6 with 30k on it was looking at kooks headers and corsa extreme setup for it with crossover .. I need some sound
@@daisythebeabull7876 you will definelty get some sound out of it. The Corsa Extreme is the best sounding exhaust for a Vette. If I didn't go rear mount twin turbo I would have kept the Extremes. Sounds like you are on the right track. Should wake your Z06 up.

Hi there. This video was shortly after the shop had finished up the majority of install. The STS kit comes with tips and should be installed today. Hope to have the car back by Monday.

I just bought one for $30 at autozone, came here to see how well it worked. My conclusion, I bought an oversized paperclip in a plastic box, but hey, atleast it cam with a $30 book with all the codes so I dont have search for them on google

Cruise control still smooth at 60mph/1400rpm? (Assuming you have stock gears). Im looking for cam...love the sound.
Yes smooth as butter with no bucking. At 60mph rpm is a smidge higher. At 70mph its roughly at the 2k mark. I do also have stock gears. I opted for stage 2 instead of the stage 3 because stage 3 has more bucking issues at low RPM. Going through parking lot would be a complete nightmare. Not to mention at the end of day it might be a 10hp difference. Not worth it to me, but to each their own if they choose stage 3.

The front ones are weird like a bumper in a bumper. If you ever seen them you know what I'm talking about. Lol
Dorman don't offer them either. Heck they make intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds but hood bumpers nope.

Holding up just fine with no issues. The fitment for the headers was good. The X-pipe needed some persuasion to get it all snug. I believe they have stopped making these headers, but I could be wrong.

I best mod I ever did to my 95 Z28 was Richmond 3.73 gears from a stock 2.73 gear. Huge difference in the way it runs.
Can you give me a link to where you got your offload X pipe, or all of your exhaust setup? I love the sound of this car and I'd like to replicate it
Sorry just now seeing this post. The offroad x pipe came with the headers.

Used to have original Loudmouth on my 98 Z. Loved the sound and tone, just had a miserable droning noise at highway speeds. Would resonate perfectly and rattle the dash causing an additional annoying buzzing. Swapped it out for SLP Dual/Dual which I don't think they make anymore
So after watching this video even though its 2020 i couldn't pass by without saying this video says alot about what kind of dad you are if more parents raised their kids and treated them with the trust, respect patience you give her in this video i could only imagine the world would be a better place ;)

My turn signal housing were terrible. Very cracked and faded. I put new ones in and switch back leds and wow it looks amazing.

3.8 good motor it gets 22 mpg too and easy work on and insurance easy
you need hooker ceramic coated headers. I put them on my 95 impala ss.... its like a race car now.
