Understand Rip Currents and Stay Safe near the Sea. Swimmers rescued!
Understand what Rip Currents are, their dangers and how to stay safe with the sea + Spanish TV features.
Last week, I jumped into the sea for a surf. When paddling out, I saw a group of swimmers getting taken by the current out to sea, so I and some other surfers went over with my board to help some of them get back safely to the sea.
Every beach goer needs to be aware about the danger of these rip currents.
In this video, I share what happened with the swimmer rescue, explain a little bit what rip currents are, how to stay safe and I added the TV features from the news channels in Spain they sent to me (In Spanish & Gallego)
Stay Safe!

Beginner backpacking mistakes & gear essentials (simple, budget & resourceful) | Caribbean Hiking
มุมมอง 5842 หลายเดือนก่อน
The most important and challenging: just reach start! I walk and talk through my hiking gear for the Waitukubuli National Trail in Dominica, showing that you don't need any fancy advanced gear to do this Caribbean long-distance hike. However, you do need to be prepared and bring some hiking and camping essentials you can't find locally on the island of Dominica. I also share hiking beginner mis...
2 Weeks Hiking & Camping in the Jungle. What's in the backpack?
มุมมอง 3825 หลายเดือนก่อน
You don't need to buy new advanced gear for your ultralight thru-hike. For this multi-day jungle hike, we packed light and resourcefully simply with the things we had. We arrived by sailboat, so we could only bring so much. Some of it, like the tent and backpack, had been bought second-hand 1000s of miles before. Other items were just what we had or found. This video is about what Jonatan and I...

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us Suzanna! We loved watching this. What a great adventure! Maybe we will try it one day as well. You had us reminiscing on some beautiful memories of our time together, and when our kids were just toddlers playing in the gardens catching lizards! Segment 5 was just across the road from our place, so we spent a lot of time on that hike - especially at Mermaid pool and Emerald pool. Good times :) Sending lots of love to you xo Sara & Stephan (Beyond Vitality Nature Camp)

ahhh so so great to hear from you! It's thanks to staying at your place that I discovered the trail in the first place 7? years ago now! I had to think a lot about you when on the trail and especially on segment 5. It was a beautiful time at your place and I'll never forget your kindness and yummy food and love for the earth. I hope you are all doing great! Sending lots of love. I hope you get to do the trail one day :) Xx Suzy

It’s a pleasure to watch you both on such a beautiful adventure. Beautiful Dominica 🇩🇲😮 To prepare the cocoa you have to dissolve it in boiling water then add milk and sugar. Then you drink it. That’s the basic version of cocoa tea. We add more stuff to it when preparing it.

I don't know why I'm thinking this :p but I feel like it's the set-up of some random horror movie, where all these hippies are having fun at the beginning of the movie and enjoying their youth to the limit and then in the middle of the ocean one of them (they were perfect strangers prior to the trip) turns out to be a psycho and goes bat-shit crazy with a boat hook or something, and they can't figure out who it is and solve the mystery so they get super paranoid and they turn on each other and eventually everyone gets stabbed or strangled (or poked?) by the killer in the middle of the ocean. except for one nice girl that we identified with from the beginning, and she manages to kill the killer (who turns out to be the dude she was attracted to in the beginning of the movie all along) and survives miraculously and barely makes it to shore and tells some third world island cops what happened and that she just wants to go back home to her little wasp town and never come back again .. I watched way too many horror movies sorry XD XD XD XD
