Great video thanks. It reminds me of the big one in central Den Haag. I have now visited a few in Holland and although I like Beest Boulders my favourites are Beta Boulders and Monk Bouldergym both in Amsterdam. The huge ones make me exhausted since I have limited time but want to try everything, especially those long over hang routes. Did you try the crack route visible at around 1min 28? I am not hugely into them but force myself to try them. You definitely need proper gloves though.
Oh Nice! We really like the beest bouldergyms, but I totally understand that the beest gyms are often to big, sometimes I don’t know where to start! 😅 I didn’t tried the crack, I don’t like them that much. I often feel like my hands are to small to fit into the crack parts, which makes them quite scary. But it’s really good to practice them, because they are quite popular, and with the gloves are a good idea 😅. Keep up the good work!
Ik ben laatst ook geweest, gigantisch!! Echt de mooiste hal in Nederland. Hij is trouwens 3600m2 groot :O 125 meter lang!!

Nice. I think you are still improving. When you make your normal videos you show the grade for each route. The gyms however only display ranges of grades (the colours) so are you using Toplogger?

We will consider it for sure. However it differs so much for each person. Some like more straightforward bouldergyms, others look at the quantity of boulders or trainingfacilities etc. But let us think it over a bit and we will come up with something!

Hebben ze hier geen groene holds voor de 6a/6b range? Net zoals in Rotterdam, ik zag nu veel zwarte met 6a :D
Hoi, ze hebben wel groene routes, maar die zijn hier 4/5. Ze hebben de kleuren een klein beetje gehusseld!
Oh nice, I was in Monk Eindhoven for the first time last weekend, the 6C+/V5 at 7:04 was my best achievement that day, you make it look sooo easy haha

@@boulderingisa Yeah I thought the routesetting was good quality, bit hard for beginners maybe, but more to choose from if you're intermediate and above. I think the walls are a bit bland looking, the building isn't the most charming, and the lighting could definitely be improved, lots of very dark spots on the wall when you go in the evening and it's dark outside.
We do have the same opinion! The gym is fine, just a bit too grey and sometimes a bit hard, but the boulders were nice!
@@1JorenI think the grey walls and mats really bring out the colorful boulders which I like a lot about this gym. If I may ask, how would you make the walls look less bland?
@@snouthlly1479 By painting the walls with some colors, like most bouldering gyms do :). I think Beest's style is quite nice, I like Boulder Tilburg/Veldhoven's styles as well. Still calming and not overdone, but makes it look a lot less boring
Another great video thanks. I love how the routes are less cluttered than in most gyms. I want to visit at least one new gym every trip to Holland or Belgium and your videos help me decide.

Super jammer dat ik jullie gemist heb in Delft. Wel tof om te zien dat je naast een paar 6C/+ ook nog een blauwe 7A weet te halen! Van die laaste twee krimpjes daarop vind ik zelf de rechter helemaal waardeloos maar jij lijkt er geen moeite mee te hebben
Inderdaad jammer dat we elkaar zijn misgelopen. Ik ben best wel goed op crimps, dus dit was wel een boulder in mijn stijl. Bedankt voor je comment! 😃

Leuke video weer en ziet eruit als een erg leuke hal. Ik heb even een paar rustdagen, maar met zo'n bouldervideo begint het toch alweer te kriebelen. Ik bewaar die energie nog voor morgen, dan mag ik weer :P
De hal is geweldig, echt enorm leuk! Slim om je energie te bewaren, tis alleen wel lastig inderdaad. Wij hebben er ook altijd moeite mee… 🤣 Bedankt voor je comment!
Leuke video weer! Delfts Bleau is deze week dicht, dus ik ga deze week ook maar eens langs bij de nieuwe hal van beest. Ziet er erg leuk uit allemaal (vooral ook omdat er zo te zien tapijt ligt en geen zeil). Wel jammer dat je de 6B+ met die gigantische draaiende greep net niet had gehaald. Ben erg benieuwd
Beest is zeker leuk om heen te gaan! Die matten met het tapijt vinden wij ook altijd een pluspunt in een hal. Ik baalde daar ook van, was echt 2 cm te kort en durfde niet af te zetten omdat ik bang was weg te schieten, maar ja. Veel plezier!
