Hi Des I use original slip in winter and No6 I've used for skimmers & also catching the odd Carp brilliant elastic & great value But have always used them with dacrons no problem what is the advantages with connectors? Or is it just preference Also have the slip changed from the old brand as I'm finding it hard to knot it now against the dacron to stop it slipping as it seems to undo its self Is there something I'm doing wrong Brilliant videos though very helpful tips which we all need 👍🎣🎣

Another good video des, I've always attached a connector that way since I first used a pole decades ago

But surely,if feeder fishing a match with International feeder rules, you cannot do this?. As there should ne no hinderance for the feeder to run freely?
