Through education, athletics, mentorship and intervention, the Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program empowers Detroit students to be positive and productive members of society. Since 2007, 100% of our students have graduated from high school; 98% have gone on to college. Our after school program is free thanks to your generous donations. There is currently a 700+ child waiting list.

DBG Students Visit Infinity Ovation Yacht Charters
Career opportunities can be found in many surprising places, even on a yacht. About 30 DBG middle school students learned that firsthand recently when they climbed aboard the 138-foot Ovation yacht and headed out onto Lake St. Clair. The scenic boat ride was also an immersive journey into the world of maritime careers. Click the video player to come aboard.

Uriel Testimony on Out of School Time Programming
