The Jo Malone one is unisex but male leaning-hubby, son and two other men I heard say it was great too. I do plan on buying it as a Christmas gift for hubby and using it too. Try it first. Duchessa by Gritti is BEAUTIFUL to me and very feminine
Unisex but to me leans feminine…that’s my hubby and son’s opinion. They aren’t super adventurous. If I had to suggest one you may want to to try a heavenly (IMO) one from Jo Malone named Cypress & Grapevine. Sephora has it to get your nose on. You can find a better value on it instead of buying from Sephora.

Is it for ladies or unisex
I never got offered the samples. I didn’t understand why. I ordered right away as soon as it was available to do so. I was super excited but a bit let down with how light the scent is. I find the tray to be impractical, kind of dangerous, if the perfume tips over on it could crack the bottle. I checked it out and put it right back at the box. Not sure what I’ll do with it. I am planning on keeping the perfume, but will try to sample before making big purchases for future. Thanks for sharing your experience, Love to hear it.💜
Hi! So sorry about the tray and the bottle, it’s cute but impractical. It would be nice to offer a 10 ml Decant with the launch of something ch an expensive perfume.

I think the first one is better all the way around. If you want to add a little more sweetness, just layer a vanilla scented body cream, body oil or vanilla perfume-example: Kayali Vanilla 28, Indult Tiholta,
No, not really. I don’t get so much of the orange blossom like in Safanad-which I love!

Palatine is powdery-in my opinion, you should try. I love iris and violet combined with Lavender. Try before you buy, please
I would say longevity and silage is similar to Meliora. It does not seem like Safanad. Safanad is 6+ -7 hours with nice projection. Not really similar to either Meliora or Safanad.

Hi ! I keep hearing palatine is similar to meliora and safanad but with that added prominent violet. Would you agree?
I think Palatine may hit me better when the weather warms up. I’ll update. If you’re looking for violet Iris I can suggest others.
Any similarity to Sora Dora’s Mallow?
In my opinion, the violet is front and center and the iris shows up too. It's very power. Mallow lasts better on my skin.There doesn't seem like there is iris in Mallow and there aren't any raspberries in Palatine. Thanks SO much for your question

A bit like Roja’s Elysium. The violet is dominate and the Iris is second. PDM seems to add something to their fragrances, in my opinion, that isn’t as easy duped. Look perhaps at Elysium. It’s less expensive, light but nice. If you’re interested in Iris dominate I have a few I can suggest. Violet is a little woodier. Thanks for your question.
I agree, it’s similar to Elysium, another one I have in my. I do find Elysium to have more character, last longer and more affordable.

I just got mine today. I like the original way better. It smells a little strange on my skin probably the nutty note. You can smell the original in the new intense. I've only sprayed it once so hopefully it will get better with time

I have EDT, EDP, Burning Neroli, Intense, Rouge and Rouge Ultime as well as Tuberose Noir. I don't love Tuberose Noir and I don't like the new absolu as I get too much tabacco
I understand. I usually get more tobacco in perfumes that have that note. I think a combo of the absolu and one of the other flankers may work. Thanks so much for viewing!
I have to say I resisted the Tuberose Noir and I LOVE tuberose but I’m not real fond of it either
