Thank you for the comments...It is a good and reliable car for relaxed cruising on country roads.

Great looking LTD. My grandfather had a 1972 LTD and it became my first car at 16 when he bought a 1974 Lincoln town car. I see that the shoulder belts are down from the headliner and it looks like you probably wear them. I was that rare teenager in 1974 that wore both the lap and separate shoulder belts when I drove. Aside from the obvious safety aspect of buckling up, I found that I had a better feeling of how the car drove and handled with the belts holding me firmly in the driver's seat. All of my friends thought I was nuts for buckling up and I was usually the only one in the car with a seat belt on. In 1978, I was coming home one weekend from college and a drunk driver hit me head on. Because of the size and quality of the LTD along with the fact that I was wearing both the lap and separate shoulder belts, I walked away with only minor cuts, scratches and bruises from the belts which was far better than the unbelted drunk driver. Buckle up and enjoy the car.

I'm pretty sure this is my parents car that was stolen from the long term lot at JFK airport in early 1976. Hand it over.

Back when you ordered a car exactly how you wanted. This example is very well equipped with options. Power windows, cornering lights, brougham trim...But NO CRUISE CONTROL! Funny. Beautiful car however. Congratulations
