A mediocre (at best) 2023 race season recap

A somewhat jumbled up race season recap in our first few months learning this new BTR built LT engine. We are working hard now to be much better documenting everything in 2024!

Mixing it up on the channel! Car content will be back soon but here's a little video on another project. I never really record content on my cellphone and it looks like I have to work on that, my bad. www.brutalfab.com

How much was that block?
@@vB1OS Retail was $13500 but I don’t think they offer them anymore. LME does though.
@@nigelstst That isnt a bad price.. LME has a billet block? Im going to go look
Where did you get the roof from? Thanks
@@jenzel777 steve pennywitts out of Michigan sold them
Beyond my skill level 😮.
Hey Nigel were you still using hydrologic roller lifters??
Yes. I still am to this day even on the LT stuff.
@@nigelstst ok cool thanks a whole bunch
Very cool man.
Congrats
Congratulations brother
Congratulations. It's well deserved 🏁🏁🏁
You show round one 5 different times and then go straight to finals... where's the "breaking it down" at??? where's round 3 where is semi finals???
That was 4 different rounds total. I only had a few videos from the one angle. The break down was after the videos.
Nice work guys! Little by little, you'll get there!!
Bad ass stang buddy you know Pro Mod Randy ok later
Appreciate it I’ve talked to Randy a couple of times at that track. He’s a good dude.
Is there a huge difference in set-ups between slicks and radials?
Not huge really but l do need a looser Stator to take better advantage of them
I always like your videos
I appreciate it
Tryin to pull the doors off!!!!🤯🤯
Lets goooooo!!!!!💰💰💰💰💰💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Loosen the converter
I’ve been leaving the dump open but a looser Stator would be more ideal
Good job Nigel!!
Cool stuff! 😎
Congrats
Thanks for posting. CFMOTO 450ss Interesting dip @9000. Looking forward to see if and when a tune becomes available.
I've seen similar dips in other brands and engines on dynos lately. Tuners are able to eliminate that, but sometimes it's a characterization of the limitations of the airbox design. Other times a set of velocity stacks cancels that effect. Combo of intake pulse frequencies and intake air velocity efficiencies.
No Prep!!!! Lets gooo!!!!
Cool 😎 stuff! Is the k-member bolt together/removable bottom bar an off the shelf available unit or custom made deal?
UPR makes them like that but I had to make my own rack mounts for it.
Thank you for the info. Appreciated
👍👍
I'm looking forward to funny post from Nigel now
An accusump is a good solution, too. Good insurance.
hell yeah
I. Could. See. That. Car. In. The. 3 s. It's. Fast. Fine. Ride.
Amazing pass 4.27 You just a 😉🤏 off from your P.B. We will stay tuned for great things to come keep up the good work👏
Was this with the new billet baller motor?
That chute pull!!!!🤯🤯🤯
This is with the Noonan block or no? If so, it looks like that weight off the nose is working!! It seems like everybody with an LT combo is having oil pressure issues..
This was our first outing with the Noonan block.
Had the rope around my neck and about to jump…. Damn glad you got it posted in time. 😂 Was not expecting to see tomorrow
😂😂😂😂
Aww man ! That block's so F-ing pretty I'd have to look at it on a table in the living room for at least a month before I could even actually start building on the sob.
Any thought for a billet coyote head for Ford
looks good, block looks like it has water ports? are you running water in block at all? are heads solid? just wondering what others are doing , curious on setups thanks
This block isn’t solid but the heads are solid. I don’t run any water.
Amazing how much lighter billet is compared to cast even though it's more dense.Time to turn it up 💪
............that makes no sense. The block itself is physically the same size. They must have gone from cast iron to billet aluminum. He said they were previously on the L8T block - which is cast iron. Aluminum is still less dense, that's how it's lighter. The grain structure of a billet is what gives the block its strength - not just the material itself.
Oooo she's a sexy SBC!!😍😍😍 Fuckin love it! Let her eat!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪💪
Glad our viewership has made you a rich enough to ball out on billet. TH-cam rich
Nice build! 😎
Badass can’t wait to see the results and the hard work pay off this season!
TG , time to go fast now !
Good job. Like. To. See. U. And. Randy. From. Turbo john raciin. Do. A. Grudge race. U. Got. A. Fine. Ride. My. Freind
Why all the one words and periods!!???
You done went and lost your damn mind!!! And I love it because that’s my style…. BUT aren’t you the “stock block the world guy” 🤔
Lol I just made what I had work. Thankfully I was finally able to move up a notch.
That's one badass block
Damn that's legit man!
Do you think going in the 4.0s on a sticky track is reasonable?
Absolutely
He's already been in the 4's, A Lot.
@@funfun8095 I know he has been 4 something I asked if he is hoping to go 4.0
@@davidreed6070 Oh, ok. Yeah, that $12k block, should help. lol
@@funfun8095 you dont think that block will hold the cylinders straighter than a stock block? It wont hold cylinder pressure better than stock or hold the heads down better?
You dont need that. Look at grubworm. Lol
he sells that block with dry sump kit for $45k. Not to mention we don’t need 60psi to make this LT run! Not taking anything away from it because it’s very fast but it’s far from a $50 Buick engine .
@@nigelstst yes but a 50$ engine is faster than your 50k engine
@jason7475 Why would you say that to the man,he has a nice fast car.
@@jason7475I’m okay with but I’ve also been faster in the 1/8th that the grub worm and I don’t race 1/4 since it’s not something worth focusing on for me right now with everything we run being 1/8. And I’m not taking anything away from that car but they’re two cars built for two different things.
@@davidreed6070it doesn’t bother me. I’m not a baller by any means and I’m fortunate to have what I have through years of hard work and companies that have wanted to help.
Damit Son!!!!!!👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Thanks for posting. Would like to see the A/F ratio.
