The music is too load in the sanctuary club. Between the loud music and the loud people drinking at the bar made it seem like a nightclub.

We are sailing November 2025. We are told the Premier package is not part of the Sanctuary Full Suite amenities. I guess this changed.

Lots of really useful information, great video! :) We are trying to consider the value that the sanctuary lounge provides, in terms of choosing between a full suite vs a sanctuary mini suite. Do you think you could have coped without the lounge if you still had the other sanctuary benefits?

Are there enough loungers for all guests booked in sanctuary cabins or is it like regular deck and you have to fight for one

That Castle was reconstructed sometime during the 1940s, therefore the tiles. It was a ruin, but there has been several constructions in that place since before the Romans, I think. A lot of history there, including an attack from an armada led by Sir Francis Drake during the times of the Iberian Union when Portugal was under the rule of a Spanish King.

We will be on the Odyssey in May and don’t plan to navigate Oia and Fira this time. We will enjoy the the waters and watch the sunset from the cruise ship. But hey, maybe we’ll change our minds later 😅

Yes it certainly is hilly, I was amazed at the height we climbed but the views made it worth the effort. Oddly enough it appeared steeper when we came down to the Port. Never bothered with the trams etc., great place and would love to go back at some stage.

Our circle island tour consisted of hiking diamond head as well.

l brought the key on RC QOTS and did not think it was worth the value for the duration of eight days.. l would have liked to have purchased for 2days for the priority boarding and disembarkation. What would have been great as the key holder, the checked luggage added as a priority to be delivered in your room like your carry on bags.. Also, the dedicated seatings at the shows should offer a complimentary drink What l did like was the internet access but you can purchase that on its own l dont think the key is a value for the entire duration, what would be great if you choose your days.

The lady that introduces the acts ( between 8 & 10 ) now she Can sing ! 💕

5 days on the ship and I still could not remember to go to the right or left when leaving my room to go somewhere. 😆 I agree that overall it did not feel overly crowded on the 10/14 cruise.

I actually worked the original Sun Princess in the early 80s! A mere 17.5K tons of total fun! for both Passengers and crew! This ship has some little boots to fill LoL

Do you feel it’s worth doing a suite for a 4 night cruise based on price difference and such on RCCL? We are cruising a 4 night followed by a 7 night and have never done a suite. Always wanted to try but It’s usually out of our price range. Might be possible to swing it for 4 nights. What is your favorite suite perk? We were a MDR family when my kids were younger. They loved how the wait staff remembered what they liked and always made them feel special. Always great service. That being said, we no longer care for the MDR. The food is mostly just okay. The only thing that might find me back there is the escargot. I do love how Royal Carribean prepares it, oh the buttery goodness to dip your bread in😋.Our last few years of RCCL cruising it’s been mostly specialty dining for us. Good food is one of my greatest loves. Okay, maybe after the grandkids and my pups❤️. Thanks for your videos. I really enjoy the little chuckles you give now and then added into the information. Glen’s face when he is unsure about something 🤣.

We did our first cruise in 2020 (Feb, right before the world shut down). We got the key for that one just to treat ourselves and check it out. We did it mostly for the Internet as well, since it was just a little more. We didn't catch on to the priority embarkation, so we missed that. But we still got to lunch and it was... Ok. Breakfast on the last day was actually really good, ioo. We appreciated it for a last minute comedy show seating. We did not use any of the "flow rider"type benefits. And no tender excursions. But honestly, our favorite benefit was the disembarking... Walking past those looong lines and having the special exit was Fantastic. I thought that spending hours just trying to get off the ship and through all the security lines would kind of ruin the whole vacation vibe right there at the end. Which is why we booked the Key for our TA coming up in 34 days! We can't wait 😊

Being a man of a certain age, I used to buy all of my office shirts from C&A. I always thought the makers label was Canda until being a numbskull I realised it simple said C and A, my excuse however was the letters were amalgamated into one word. Used to produce good stuff and I recall visiting C&A's in Paris and Amsterdam. Great video, you certainly are a couple of walkers, walkers I said! Madeira is a lovely place although when we were there in July 2024 low cloud ruled out a trip on the cable car.

Lovely video- planning on going in August 25 with 2 kids. Not sure when you went but worried it will be too crowded and too hot. Not sure if allure or explorer feel less crowded. First cruise- any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
