They don't know how to fix it, that is their problem. It shows when they can't even fix dino models without spending 2 million dollars. They had to buy everything as an outside source and then throw it all together in some cheap soaked toilet paper. If they had just stopped trying to be cheap and spent 2 mill on an internal team to do their modeling, they wouldn't have to worry about plugging in outside assets. Wildcard took the cheap way out and now has to spend 3 times as much fixing their product.

imo disabling Lumen things is way better to fps, in exchange just a small quality drop. Lumen reflections just took terrible. On my 2080ti i got about 30-60fps on even 4k and theres clouds on!

People just dont like the new one I dont, PvP wise its a mess with stickwomen and structures 4x the size makes being solo a pain and crossplay was only good for PVE but it ruined PVP especially if your a PS player we had it so good for years now we got cheaters.

I was just looking at the numbers - looks like ALL games are dying. The gaming generation has grown up and doesn't want their kids wasting all their time, since they are now required to be on Ipads from the time they wake up until after school. The current model is madness nobody has the attention span anymore for gaming.

It’s not “dying”? It’s an early access title that has only one map and the old Dino’s from the last game, there is no incentive to play Asa as of right now because burnout is a thing? I hate this mentality because you see a game preforming poorly, and then people try to capitalize off the death wagon. If wildcard comes out tomorrow and says “we are canceling work on Ark survival ascended” then it’s cooked! Games that have players aren’t dead.

Honestly, ascended is what i always wanted whilst playing ark, Mods:Check Graphics:Check Realistic:Check QOL changes:Check And many other things ive wanted, also while the fps still isnt good, its alot more stable

I don’t see how people hate ascended and say it’s a “cash grab” cause the old game, if you got all the DLC’s at release is probably 4x the price, and if anything it was more pay to win, it always has been with DLC’s, Asa is in alpha and has 7 free DLC’s with a new creature in each one plus a whole new one with 4, i think with just a year or 2 it will get way better and be a well made good game, with minor bugs, like any game.

I think another big reason SA isn't bigger is that it pretty much requires a 40 series card to run it. Both my gf & I wanted to play SA but when we learned that it runs like crap on our 30 series cards, we decided to just stick with SE

Honestly this seems well-deserved. Shutting down servers on SE and making them pay FULL PRICE to buy a buggy game just to play on servers again is a dick move. They also lied to their playerbase about the dlcs in SA which again is a real dick move. Lying to your customers makes them not want to use your product and Snail Games is only learning that now

Imagine paying 40-45€ for a "HD" upgrade of ARK only to have it look like shit anyway because its so poorly optimized just like ARK is. Same bugs, nothing was fixed really, same hackers and bug abusers. Nothing changed other than a bunch of dumbasses paid too much money for a "HD" upgrade. ARK 2 is going to be exactly what ASA was and I know the same bunch of dumbasses, the same ones paying for this "HD" upgrade are the ones pushing money for ARK 2 aswell once it releases, and trust me when I say this; itll be most likely even worse cash grab scam than ARK was to begin with.

the funny part is you're actually giving it more credit than it deserves. this release has been absolute dogshit and it remains so a month in.

A tip for people using the quest method, if you are level 86 and on the theophylline room quest (the one after all the artifacts) you should just swallow the pill and use the 3 times buff for an hour and a explorer note xp buff. I happened to also use the primal pass and eventually I had a 12 times xp multiplier on the XP rewards of 250k. If you don’t have primal pass you’ll still get 1,5m instead of 3M but it’s insane nonetheless. (Ps I think it’s capped at 10 times even though it said 12 times, not 100% sure though.)
