Thanks for watching - Please SUBSCRIBE, like & comment
We are Rich & Samantha and we are very lucky to own 3 VW camper vans. We will be filming TRAVEL content and some Volkswagen Campervan / UK VANLIFE videos.
The basic idea of the channel is to inspire people to get themselves a campervan and travel to some of the places we have been.
We love it and hope that you do too !
Maybe you want to live in your van or maybe just go away at weekends.
We currently do a bit of both.
Van life is about freedom, exploration and living a simpler life.
WHY DO YOU HAVE 3 VANS ? (that sounds like too many)
We have a video that answer's that very question !
WHAT'S GOING TO BE ON THE CHANNEL ?
#travel videos and #vanlifeuk videos. We aim to cover the UK and Europe, posting town and city tours so you can see where you might want visit (or where not to). If it's CAMPERVAN related, I'm filming it !
Explore with us from the comfort of home !

Welcome to Wrexham - What it's REALLY like !
#vanlifeuk #travel #wales
In today's van life travel adventure I let an 11 yer old loose on a map of Wales. Blindfolded he picks Wrexham as our long weekend destination. Not ideal as it was over 200 miles away from us but it turned out to be a fantastic weekend made up of 2 videos. This is the first from Wrexham centre and a visit to an Aqueduct just outside of town.
We have been following the "Welcome to Wrexham" documentary on Disney plus channel and really enjoy it so we didn't mind the long drive to finally see what it was really like and we were pleasantly surprised.
Not just with Wrexham, but with North Wales in general.
It's somewhere I've only visited once before and that was many years ago in my old VW T2. We will definitely be going back !
I hope you enjoy the video - almost at one thousand subscribers now.
Lots more videos coming up !!

Here's a little fact for you, Romsey homes the remains of the worlds oldest monolithic structure...
I’ve lived in Poole for 31 years and since COVID the town has slowly died. The Quay used to be a great night out all ages enjoying live music. Bike nights and fireworks was always a good night out. But it’s just dying with the high street full Of charity shops. Such a shame as it’s a great place to live
You missed Poundbury, the area Prince Charles was involved with...
@@theuktoday4233 have driven past there a few times. Is it worth a visit?

Is a shits hole. Place has gone down hill alot
Poole is now a complete dump like every other town
Correction you are sleeping ina van but still paying rent on your home,so its not actually free unless you do it full time
@@toppertruthio I don’t have a home or pay rent. Most nights are spent in the van but some nights I stop at my girlfriend’s house or at my parents.
Great scenery, are you n the carnivore diet, looked so tasty too, thanks for sharing the video xx
@@healingsreadingsandart no carnivore diet just like eating simple meals
Very good info .. thanks
Good video, but that subscribe bell is super pathetic. I don't get this. Did you yourself ever subscribe to a channel just because someone was begging for it? And, there is no space spelled before interpunction marks like ? ! , etc.
Just had this pop up in my recommendations. Sadly its much the same after 4 months. Three of the high street banks are gone. That Scope shop has moved into the big empty Home world, with the health centre set to expand into where it was. The bubble tea shop now does waffles and ice cream. Other than that... basically the same. Interesting seeing people in the background I know, either personally, or that i just recognize in passing. There are plans for a massive overhaul of the town but we are looking at something like a decade for it to really come into fruition.
20:12 used to be Barclay’s Bank until a couple of years ago.
3:00 it’s now a Waterstones.
Didnt it used to be a M&S ?
@@Soph_monro no, it was M&Co. At one point M&Co also occupied the unit next door, which is now occupied by Boots Opticians. M&Co occupied that unit for about 3 years or so, and it used to be where the (frankly insultingly small) menswear section was to be found. Honestly, I went in there once, saw how pathetically small the menswear section was, and just left. I never went in there again - no wonder they shut up shop altogether just a few years later! That unit is now so much better now that it’s Waterstones (although, an M&S Food Hall like the one in Petersfield would’ve been pretty nice!
So many shit rules and regulations in England saying you can't sleep outside/campover night. Makes vanlife a nightmare.
Great video. This is almost a carbon copy of the van I just bought. Mines a 1996 t4 800 special that has had a 1.9 tdi engine swapped in. Even got the same power management panel. I haven’t got the pop top though.

I love how all the people who watched this live here. I also live here
I have a big house ive handed over for my adult kids to live and have no problem with the odd van parked up outside. As long as theres no trace left and loud music etc, its absolutely fine. Anyone who is stressing about a van outside is really odd?! Do they do a register of all cars and vehicles parked in the street every night and get angry about any unknown vehicles? Its a van not a car, caravan and awning out. Its no bigger than the standard estate car or 4x4. These people maybe van lifers but they've definitely not left the angry, pedantic, habitually frustrated rat race attitude behind.
My home town it's a lovely historic English town. Shame about all the foreigners the government are pumping into it.. breaks my heart to see it becoming a third world dump.
You seem incapable of parking facing the correct direction Every single example. And you’re bothered about your head?
It is probably the most British village in France, the heart of "Dordogneshire"...
France is beautiful full stop.. Are they for sale because it's getting too warm? We have visitors/guests from many parts of Southern and Central Europe escaping the summer heat.
Why don't you use they're drive, break in and have a coffee. 🤔🤔🤔🇫🇷
There are Trout, Grayling, Otters and much more in the river running through the town.
Agreed, went there a few months ago
Lovely video. Thanks for sharing. I have an aunt and cousins on my father's side who live in Bergerac. I remember going there with my eldest sister to visit when I was 14 and don't remember seeing anything of the city. I only remember my aunt sharing how my father wasn't a nice guy. Your video makes me want to go back and spend time there and really get to know the place, and to reconnect with relatives.
If you find a great spot that slopes, why not level up your bed with a few chocks of wood?
@@loki1066 could do but I try to be as stealthy as possible
Was a bustling town when I initially lived there, apparently alot of people moved from Northern Ireland to live in Andover.
Some excellent tips there. Great advice.
You mentioned finding a pasty shop as you walked past the site of the old pasty shop (now a sushi and noodle bar). Sadly there is no longer a pasty shop in Newbury.
I grew up in Newbury & lived there 30yrs. Moved away around 2012. Not long after Park Way opened. The Kennet Centre opened in the 80s. Has been a dingy dump for years. Northbrook St was pedestrianised in the 90s I think. Used to be two way traffic with narrow pavements. The clock tower used to be the site of an old ornate gas lamp in Victorian times which got relocated to Speen, to the west of the town centre. Newbury is very expensive to live in nowadays. The train station is popular with London commuters which keeps prices high. Nice town overall but the nicer houses require a decent sized lottery win. Unless you got lucky and bought one in the 1970s. I hope I'll move back one day, must admit I'm very fond of the place, despite the awful traffic and the high cost of living.
If you looked to the left at top of the high street there is an old pub called the angel inn built in the 15th century and further down was the church with some more 16th century houses which used to be a jail

Andover use to be a busy market town, sadly it has been reduced to charity shops due to greedy landlords along with the corrupt Testvalley council.

Would be interesting to weigh the van before and after conversion. I used dodomat products and some 3 way stretch carpet. I bought an end of roll oak effect vinyl flooring and a single piece plywood sheet roof panel for the rear. A few bits like stanley knife blades, foil tape, spray glue, screws. Ended up costing about £500. You have done a really nice job on your T4. 👍
