Les quatre jeunes talents du Quatuor Pelleas se rencontrent à la Haute École de Musique de Genève. C'est dans les classes de Michel Bellavance et de Jacques Zoon qu'ils se perfectionnent et découvrent le plaisir de jouer ensemble. De leur profonde amitié va naître un projet de musique de chambre passionné et ambitieux. Ensemble ils explorent le répertoire encore méconnu du Quatuor de flute avec la volonté de sensibiliser à la musique classique un large public et de promouvoir cette formation des plus originale. Frais, inattendu, agréable et accessible, le Quatuor Pelleas s'approprie des oeuvres allant du baroque à la musique contemporaine, en passant par des standards du jazz et de la musique actuelle. Leur interprétation toute en couleur vous emportera dans un univers entre réel et imaginaire !

Quatuor Pelleas beautifully performs composer Marc Berthomieu's flute quartet: Arcadie. Berthomieu lived from 1906 - 1991 and was also a writer and director. A lovely piece delightfully played!
A wonderful arrangement and use of 4 different flutes from this family of fabulous woodwinds! Hats off to the arrangers, musicians, and of course, Astor Piazzolla!
