Hello Alyssa, I am gender nonconforming person who questioning if I am trans. Have supportive friends who are welcoming my gender exploration. I always tried to be myself however some social expectations for women I had done because I was traumatized to conform. Now embracing my natural nonconforming state. Also testing different names and pronouns. Family and coworkers do not know. Family wouldn’t be accepting and not confident enough to tell coworkers. They just know I wear suits.

There is NO argument, it's just people with no life and nothing better to do. I would probably be able to find respect for trans if they didn't fly militant nonsense flags and waffling on about getting offended by anything... ffs this is why trans are like they are in the first place! They just cannot accept the birth defect and cannot talk about it without getting into confrontation. The flag is not a representation of union, it's a flag which separates men or women who feel like the opposite birth gender from the rest of the world and i find it extremely offensive and counter productive. Stuff the word transphobic its absolute nonsense and exists as much as non-binary. If you want respect and acceptance then get back into society where we WANT you to live with us without all the waffling. Deeper voice, offensive, names... Be stronger, learn to forget who you almost pretended to be and go back to your roots, find love for yourself. There is nothing wrong with who you are and STILL are behind the pretending. I repeat, there's no such thing as transphobia whatsoever. It only and can only exist in fictional situations, because the very premise of transexual is fictional in itself. Learn to love and be yourself dude. Your life will be so much better!

I started HRT May 29th 2021 so I am nearly 2 months ahead of you. I been using gels about 18 months and scrotal application for nearly a year and mono for nearly 6 months. I too am on a weight loss journey for nearly the last 3 years and I have lost I estimate about 112lbs and I still need to lose about 50lbs more. I have lost a lot for my upper body, shoulders, chest area(I can see my shoulder bones and some ribs now). Not had any voice training or hair removal, can't afford it. On the waiting list for my local GIC. Still got about another 3 years to wait for my 1st appointment.

This is where we may have to start talking with the gamers, not at them. We’re stuck with the game…taking the character as our own, and deflecting the damage, is something we may have to do for ourselves. Turn the game around, and strip it away from the TERFs. Make the game odious to THEM. Heck, Sirona Ryan Fan Fiction… I didn’t grow up on HP. I was solidly in my thirties when the books were being printed. I read Philosopher’s Stone, and saw the movies, mostly because I run in geek/nerd circles. I was also re-reading Cyrano de Bergerac. Growing up as an effeminate child with a deep secret, I learned to turn bullies’ words against them…to survive. Much the fictional Sirona Ryan would have. Like Cyrano in the book, which I read as a child, I pivoted the narrative. It embarrasses and frustrates bullies when they can’t beat you down.

I find this all rather odd, are you not going to get treated for cancer because it was revolutionised by Otto Warburg a person of Jewish heritage who sold out his own people. I’m sure you see the logical parallel as nobody championed JK more than the tran community prior to this. My point is your hating something because of its creator despite the fact that you can take her creation and make it your own and have a place for it in your own life. The trans community isn’t doing it self much favours when it goes to extreme to justify its position. With a literal war going on where people are dying, unbelievable amounts of poverty and hellish public debates I’ve all manner of rights as is I would say the best course of action is to be ask to be treated fairly and reasonable. However not to attack other for the believes or what they choice too or not too engage with. As someone else who is apart of the lgbt I have receive more hate and more public push back just for being associated with the radicals within the trans movement. This has actually made things worse not better and if people are pushed any further it will get much much worse before it’s better. You only need to look at history to know this.

You do yourself a disservice when you say "if you do X, you aren't an ally". The world isn't black and white. It's a spectrum. And you need all the allies you can get. Best not turn them away. It creates division in a community which weakens the whole effort. Peace.
