But why this press conference? Asantewaa youths press conference was purposely to ask people to stop against their king and them as asanteman. They never mention bono or made emphasis on the fact that people who are attacking them should stop. People from different tribe has been attacking asantes and their king not just bono. Dormaahene has been attacking asantes and their king and the asantes, so they asked people like dormaahene to stop. Asantes doesn’t have problem with bonos because there are some bono towns who are also part of Asante kingdom. Gyapekrom, Sampa, Berekum, and many others are part of Asante kingdom. Therefore Asantes cannot have problem with bono but rather dormaahene who started all these problems. I think asking dormaahene and co to stop attacking Asantes will solve everything. To my knowledge, this press conference is needless.
