אני זוכר כנער שלחתי לה מכתב או גלויה לקיבוץ המעפיל. בעקבות שיר נהדר "ניגונים" של פניה ברגשטיין והיא שלחה לי גלויה עם תמונה שלה וכתבנ שהיא עובדת בקיבוץ במפעל הגרביים

My father an old navy man who was nicknamed ‘Sinatra’ as a sailor because his buddies swore his deep, velvety baritone voice was fluid with a wide range, impeccable phrasing, and precise diction. My dad was known for his perfect pitch, breath control, and ability to sustain notes like Sinatra. My dad never had a singing lesson, was a soloist as a choir boy and ‘Ave Maria’ was his favorite as a youth. My dad said Harve Presnell’s rendition of Mariah had no equal.

I LOVE the opening of this quartet!!! It's so unique and strange for its time. I love hearing Mozart experiment. And also love the way he gives us this incredible opening and then is like, okay that's enough - too much for you to handle so we'll go into something more comfortable. though, no less thrilling!
