I have one of those GoPro camera birdfeeders, but the squirrels figured out how to take the top off because we didn’t screw it down and they ate all the birdseed
They sell poles on Amazon for 60$ that's 6-7 feet that come with a squirrel bonnet. So far it's been working for me

We actually get a lot of bats and owls at night because we have a lot of wood and sometimes we can see some giant owls flying around
And we have a pool and the bats like the swoop down there and drink the water sometimes when we are in the pool and that’s a little scary😅

I have many barred owls around my house. I've been thinking of a way to get a nesting box going for them next year with a camera setup! It's hard getting nature to do what you want haha 🤣
