I just see a huge problem here, it's clearly a fake video, because like all of us know, celts and almost all European was black, so please stop lying like this on those civilizations
Did you know Ainus were the same Aryans from the northern plateau of Great Iran who migrated to northern Japan in the distant past?
16 th fascinating fact Hadrian's wall. The only wall in the world to keep people in side. All walls built globally are to keep people's out.
As a Scot it looks like i Pict a good video.
Firstly, every Druid lead clan kept ledges and historys. The Vatican has it all locked away. And built on our literal bodies..lets stop feeding into the "lack of" anything. Its very much there. And the ones that flead are the soul reason why they can't condemn us as a myth like they're famously known for. The man on the cross is a literal symbol of death to the Druidic clans. The cross being our symbol for the body. And the man symbols to the church the victory over Scotland and Ireland to the church, that famously still owns the lands...the more you know. Down with Christianity!!
Great content. Amusing to me that “fact number [n]…” is sometimes followed by “may have.” A fact or supposition? 😊
That thumbnail is hysterical. Did the Picts use to work as baristas or own second hand record shops?
I was hoping the Picts were genetically blue like Krisna's species.....
In fact #1 the phrase is poorly written, you can tell it is a literal translation from Spanish. The correct is: " Txakurrak katua ikusten du". On the other hand, hearing tango music or music from southern Spain, talking about the Basques, is fun. A report about the Scots with country music also sounds weird.
"Several species of small, furry animals, gathered together in a cave, grooving with a Pict."
I’ve got 2 or 3 percent basque DNA. Crazy because my mom’s Irish and my dad is Nicaraguan.
My mother was Born in northern Navarre, very "Euskaldun area", she died three years ago, still speaking in basque, she was an excelent cooker, she had a "Basque Navarre" restaurant in Barcelona. In Basque country and Navarre they have their own tax collect (hacienda foral) so they are like a "federal country" in fact.
th-cam.com/video/JyIwpzskkEQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=p7v53r0brxUYHpbQ How about this? Are Scottish ancient Hellines?
A fascinating and well produced video. Thanks very much. I live in Burghead , Morayshire once the northern capital of the Pictish kingdom in Scotland. Locals here today are called Brochers coming from the Broch of the Picts.
Txakurrak katua ikusten du, ak is "the". Txakurrak katuari ikusten dio, Ari is "to the" and should be finished by dio which is "something" that is not mentioned. So either "the dog sees the cat- txakurrak katua ikusten du" or "txakurrak katuari (zerbait) ikusten dio- the dog sees (something) to the cat." Also basajaun, baso (wood) jaun (lord). Cheers.
Seeing that the Picts only formed c200ad, everything you say about them being a factor in earlier Roman invasions/Hadrians all is bogus.
Sadly now I don't see any new reaserches about thr Pictish language. I have a feeling that I'm the last Pictish language explorer 😢
There is a Chinese or Japanese person saying that Yi Sunshin is a fabrication and that ancient Korea was ruled by Japan..I am not sure if this person is Japanese or Chinese. But Japan and China have never given up on Korea for the last five centuries. Why are they obsessed over Korea so much? Can you make a video about it? Chinese are claiming that Koreans are not Koreans but all chinese and they deny all history of Korea as if it never existed. And Japanese are saying Japan never lost Limjin war or never owns up to what they did during WW2. They think they are the victims of war. Like the US nuked them because they were racists type of claim.. I honestly haven't seen a single Korean going around saying stuff like this online. But it seems like China and Japan are constantly at every single Korea related channels and saying the same thing. Why are they like this? What's wrong with Korea having history? Why does it bother them so much that Korea was able to survive over five thousand years? They really want to erase Korea from the map..
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@lovegab6333 You love the fact that someone is talking about you! Yes. I'm glad I made you laugh CCP pet. Hope they give you the seat they promised. You work too hard online.
Woad was too acidic to use as a tattoo dye so no that's wrong. It was sourced elsewhere from something else.
Please Clíp the museum from this video 🙏🏼. Yes there’s a German museum in Bilbao OK please make it about the basque ONLY. Please ? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Could the Picts just be Scott's from a different region, kinda like wide spread Canada, we're all Canadian, but different from one side right the other
The pucts probably interbred with the gaels after Kenneth McAlpine united them.
Love the subject. I'm of Scottish genetic decent. So the history of my peoples origins fascinates me. However can we agree the use of AI generated content needs to stop? The information is superficial and repeats the same subjects over and over.
This question came up on my “Life in the UK” quiz re: Hadrian’s Wall, and I got the question wrong, so I’m here to learn in case I get this question on the actual test. 😅
There are no such thing as a caucasian tribe. Because caucasians are RH positive R. H negative through the neanderthal.
Who cares
Ginger trans possibly mmmmm.
Do you know any other fascinating facts about real pirates? 🏴☠
The original homeland of the Picts was in Jutland, where the woad plants they needed for their tattoos or Pict-ures grew in abundance. This is according to Herodotus btw. They migrated to France where they founded 12 small kingdoms. When Troy fell and the survivors from Ilia migrated to the islands they named Britian after their leader Brutus, something occurred to demolish the Pictish kingdoms in France, and a group of survivors sailed to Britain to appeal for sanctuary. The Brits had just conquered Ireland and they gave the Picts the northern part of Britain on three conditions - they merge with the Danaan women of Ireland, they forever exist in a Matriarchy ruled by the Danaan, and they eradicate the remaining giants who lived to the north. That's how Scotland came to be created and the Picts came to live there when this was never their original homeland. Relatedly, the Saxons and Anglos also came from the area around Jutland, with the Anglos claiming they had been led to the British islands by their god Ingve, so the migration of all of these "Germanic" tribes to the west may have been organized by someone very powerful.
Enki?
Fact about PICTs = Dunno
That mystery animal might just be a goat
There was no tartan in those days and the movie Braveheart (brae fart) was fictional -- the French queen only came to Britain six years after Wallace's death. There had been no major exchange between England and Scotland from 1190 to 1290 but Edward the First kicked the moneychangers out of England in 1290 and they fled to Scotland to foment a re-invasion. Suddenly there were all those battles. The moneychangers failed -- the English monarchs achieved their goals and kept them out but the moneychangers control the publishing industry and have reworked history and written themselves out of it and now characterize it as a war between Scots and English invaders,
INSANE number of ads!
I really think that the beast is a stylized representation of a wolf! I mean that's what it looks like to me!
I didn't realize the Picts had such fantastic hair dressers!
The non-Mediterranean Europeans should be proud that while the rest of the known world spent four-thousand years engaged in Imperialism, genocides, slavery, cultural destruction of other societies, and violent sexual degeneracy, our ancestors lived in relative isolation in the north-west corner of the Eastern Hemisphere, engaged in agriculture and artistry. Our warriors were dedication to the defense of their societies, not the conquest of other societies. If not for the foreign armies of the Roman Empire that conquered our ancestors and forced them to serve THEIR imperial purposes under threat of mass genocide, there's no telling what our modern culture would have become. The reason our true organic culture is lost to history, is because it was erased by those who conquered us. Now, 2,000 years later, those most responsible the the worst atrocities of civilization, have convinced the world (and we ourselves) that we are the people who created all that's worst in civilization. Even racism, when it's a fact that the first people in recorded history to be disparaged because of their physical racial appearance are those white people who lived north of the Mediterranean World.
I recall Louis Jordan telling Art Linkletter that he was actually Basque, and not French. His being thought of as French probably was more professionally expedient, so he could be cast in movies like "Gigi".
I love the Basque culture. I love my mother. Thank you for this narrative.
What AI image generator was used for these PICTures?
The period of which 'Jikji' was created is Koryeo Dynasty. Joseon Dynasty was established in 1392^^
French, Spanish and English destroyed so many cultures.
It's my understanding that they were descendants of a mix of the Urnfield peoples and some other far flung culture who migrated up to the limits of Modern day Scotland.
The monk that wrote about matriarchy could have been trying to slam the Picts as weak women ran groups not worthy of respect. A religious patriarchal man is not going to praise truthful a woman ran society.
look at a facinating book called the alban quest
13:09 Many of these images have little or nothing to do with the Picts. This one, for instance, is a painting of the surrender of Vercingetorix (a Gaulish chieftain) to Julius Caesar.
Life hasnt been good to me , it doesnt feel good , theres something wrong , i dont want to be here
Amazing & Awesome documentary ! KUDOS ! Thank you so very much for sharing with us ! Here in Calif's Central Valley we have been blessed with many wonderful Basque restaruants & thriving Basque communities !
Well according to my DNA results ( uploaded my test to Genomelink), I am 2.4 % Basque. I didn't know that at all, and I don't know where to look on my tree to figure out who would be the person that came from the area. But this video has been helpful in learning a bit more about them. Thanks for posting it. :)
'Scotlands lost history'? More like Britains lost tribe and nation. The Scots are invaders and tge reason we can't speak to the Picts today.
