very subtle and inventive collage with a bit of a musique concrète vibe! do you play some of the experimental electronic stuff live on a modular synth or has the whole thing been composed from scratch on a computer?
@urbulibaba Hi, thanks for listening. Yes 👍 ! , I'm heavily inspired by musique concrète techniques and concepts, I love experimenting with audio and creating weird and unusual soundscapes. All the sound was done on a modular system, a computer is used to record and clean up the audio. I've been messing around with synths, etc for years, and a dive into modular really changed everything for me and gave new life into what was starting to feel redundant. Thanks again for listening. 👍
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 my pleasure! very cool stuff, I love experimental modular synth music!
digging this blend of genre, from experimental electronica to world music influences!
@urbulibaba thanks so much! 🍻, haha, yeah , there's a bit of everything in my stuff.
Masterclass.
beautiful work! subscribed!
@Euro_Divergent_Music thank you so much for listening. I'm glad you enjoyed. 👍
This is amazing, as your jams always are. You have such a light touch in crafting these beautifully balanced soundscapes, man 😊 And happy birthday to Reuben! 🎂
Thanks man, 🍻 It was a fun day playing around with a recent addition of a plaits clone to the rack. Pretty impressed with the versatility , I can see why so many people like it. Reuben enjoyed himself and had a great day doing Rueben stuff and listening to all the noise 😃
Medication Time.
Some amazing frequencies in there, and I love your use of stereo. The whole atmosphere is beautiful... calming but very uplifting too. A great start to my weekend - thanks ☺
Thanks Man 👍 So glad you enjoyed. Beads was the first module I ever bought, it's been in the rack for a while only being used as a delay, I wanted to revisit it and spark some of that inspiration I felt when I first got it. Rings is providing the cascading "tubular" sounds while Beads is being fed a complex patch from the spherical wavetable navigator creating that big bright pad sound ,I really liked the results, evolving wavetables into Beads is something I want to explore a bit deeper. That was a mouthful😂 ....I rarely get to tech talk like that, thx so much for watching. 🍻
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 Haha! Thanks for the explanation - I enjoyed that. The patch sounds great too :)
wild eery noise music. wide pallette of sounds in this piece
ooo i love this so much
@bexiexz thank you, I'm so glad that you enjoyed. Hope you had a nice halloween season.
I really love how patiently you build up your jams, with lots of interesting textures across the stereo spectrum. That dark droning synth tone gives this one a real sense of foreboding, and those more snappy plucked sounds that come in sometimes come in have, not necessarily a feeling of levity, but lift the whole piece up from the depths. The samples are a nice touch too! Amazing work! 👍
@yassokiiba thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to do something to play outdoors on Halloween. I do a setup on the porch every year and this sounscape will get played on some speakers I've placed around. Maybe I'll try to get a short video of everything and post it. Happy Halloween Man 🎃🤖👹👻🍻 Thanks for watching 👍
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 haha! That's amazing... it should freak some people out, for sure :)
Love this type of collage... you've put it together so well, with beautiful timing and placement - and your use of reverb is spot on. Was feeling quite spooked out at first, but that beat came in and got my toes tapping. Love it!
Thanks Man, 🍻. I love all those old paranormal specials. There is a sound quality to them that just can't be matched by modern stuff. Yes, a 4/4 beat mixed with absurities really does keep things light. Thanks for checking it out. 👍
It's all true. "Sometimes in the shower, I'm afraid to wash my hair."
Those Prehistoric Demons can sometimes creep up the drain to get ya!
Wow! The old phone is making music! I love it!
How very true!!!
Nobody ever reads the manual first 😂
I nearly jumped out of my seat when the video started! 🤣🤣🤣
He Is good lookin 🥸
the squeaky bits are the best! doors? rails? chained ghosts?
Hahaha, im actually trying to line up some chained ghosts for my current project 😃, those squeaky sounds are from the hand crank of a music box pitched down, the sound of the crank got picked up a bit while recording the music box sound and I really liked it.....it reminded me of shaky wheels on some creepy medical bed like something in the Silent Hill series. I'm happy you caught that. 👍
We live on in the hearts and minds of each other ETERNALLY ❤ 🔥 ✨️
@@justinhuffman2430 Nothing Lasts, Nothing is Lost. ❤️
Oooh yes! Love these psychedelic vibes. The pace is perfect, with a kind of swell - like the sea. And as always you introduce such a great variety of sounds, which sometimes surprise and contradict (collage style), but never feel out of place. I always get such a visual response to your pieces. Usually empty urban spaces, but this one has more of a feel of wildlife. Love it.
Thanks so much for the nice descriptions, I think of it almost like a soup , everything just swirling around in a vast space.
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 soup's a nice way to look at it! and that's made my mind up for lunch too

it's gonna go wrong. because it always goes wrong. but it sounds dope.
I Had psychedelics go wrong once in a K Mart....lets just say I'm not invited back anytime soon🫠thanks for watching 👍
epic patching that harp sound is beautiful. amazing!
Thanks man, I had a lot of fun jamming with it 🍻
This is brilliant.
It was Long overdue. 🫠
Listening now... Love this style of yours so much. Like soundtracks to movies that never got made jostling alongside each other. The ambience is beautiful ... just enough space, and an ebb and flow that is so calming. It absolutely fits that ENo description of ambient as being interesting enough to listen to closely, but also something that you can let flow in the background without it grabbing your attention. Wonderful!
Thanks so much, your descriptions are always so good, the whole background thing is a big part of it, I heard about an early ambient artist back in the 20s who actually scolded his audience for listening!😂 I always found that idea of "musical wallpaper" interesting. The other side of it is definitely visual in nature, I want to add soundtracks to everything I see. So glad you liked it and so glad you get the concepts as well. 🍻
Thanks so much man 🍻 I hope you enjoyed your time. Summer is winding down here as well, and I am trying to squezze out some late summer lazy vibes to just hang out on the deck with before it gets unreasonable. The strings are all samples, several different guitar takes in morphagene format with splice markers. Im so glad you enjoyed this and it brought some peace and calm to your day. Freesound has a decent section dedicated to morphagene formatted stuff, thats where I got the sample from originally, let me know if you would like me to post a link. Looking forward to hearing some new stuff from you soon. 👍
Been off here for a few weeks and this is a lovely jam to welcome me back. Absolutely love this - reminds me of some of the more organic sounding ambient post rock (maybe Brokeback or Koen Holtkamp?). Are those string samples or from a module? Either way, it's such a wonderful atmosphere and has given me such a calm feeling today. Thank you for sharing.
A cool and mysterious world view🎉❣️I watched a wonderful video👍
@user-uw6ri7ip6u hi, thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed. 👍
tons of details here.. nice job!
Thanks for listening, I'm glad you enjoyed 👍
oh yesss...
I look forward to enjoying this with a drink on my porch in the summer heat tonight. Your other videos also offer brilliant ideas and great music.
@Hessencemusic hello, and thank you for the nice comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the sounds. I hope you have a great time on your porch. It sounds like a nice way to spend an evening. Thanks for checking it out 🍻
surrounded with magic.. well done!
@Hessencemusic thanks, I really appreciate when like minded individuals can connect with my art. 👍 glad you enjoyed
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149my pleasure ✨
Love this! That bass line underpinning the whole thing, the lovely sense of space created by the stereo image, but just the whole overall atmosphere of it is so wonderful. It's so calming and evocative. This will be perfect to listen to with a drink on my veranda in the summer heat tonight. 👍 Edit... just got to the drums coming in... stunning! Such a lovely development to this piece.
Thank you so much for that nice comment man,🍻 I needed to hear that. TH-cam is such a vast platform. There is so much out there to see/hear that sometimes it feels like releasing stuff is like tossing a pebble into the ocean. When someone like minded offers a positive comment it really drives home the point of making art and how its not about how many you reach but more about connecting with like minded individuals who share an appreciation of the material. I hope you had a nice , relaxing sit on your veranda. 👍
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 So glad if my comment gave you some positive vibes! I know exactly how you feel - and agree with every word. I started this channel simply because I couldn't keep making track after track just to email a link to my parents and mate... I thought I'd upload videos and no one would listen, but at least it would be an outlet. It's always so nice when even one person who shares your interests takes time to listen and say something nice. And your uploads are always so impressive. I'd happily buy a tape (or more) of stuff like this :)
sick track, very ethereal awesome unpredictable generative sounds
@darkestsunray thanks for checking it out.🍻 It was fun to have a sit at the machines after a busy month.
You always so good at conjuring up amazing soundscapes with your jams. There's such a lovely warmth and sense of space to this. Love it!
@yassokiiba thanks for checking it out. This was the first opportunity I have had in a while to sit and craft something meaningful.....looking forward to some nice quiet summer days to pursue my art. Thanks again for listening 🍻
love this
Thanks for listening, I'm glad you enjoyed. 👍
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 ooo yes
This is soooo good, man! Very calming, but with a lovely subtle edge to it. There are loads of little details that keep the texture very intricate, while the melody drones behind. A little melancholy, too. Perfect for this warm day sat on my veranda! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you for the nice comment. I really had fun jamming with this. 🍻
i like it! make more!
I'm glad you enjoyed. 🍻Thanks for watching.
Grab an end, this one's heavy. I SAID NICE ONE MATE!!!
Thx man , Remember.... always lift heavy objects with your back ,in a bending, twisting motion. 👍 6/10 doctors possibly recommend not advising against this 🫠
nice work very introspective and pensive patch I like its evolving generative nature
Thx so much. 👍 I had fun just chilling out to this, and also got a real good grasp of some techniques I had not tried before.I'm super interested in the generative aspects of modular and looking forward to exploring this more. I'm glad you enjoyed , and thanks for watching. 🍻
This is so lovely! Enjoying this in the warm morning spring breeze on my veranda. Such a well constructed generative patch :)
Thanks so much.....you paint such a nice picture with your comment......congratulations! 😃you are using this art in the intended manner. 🍻👍thx for watching.
Wow great nature sounds combined with synth textures surreal yet organic
Thanks for checking it out.🍻
Love these soundscapes that you create - feels like ghosts playing in the modular system
Thanks so much. I did this for some background sounds to play outdoors with the spring season approaching here, I'm getting ahead of myself though as there is so much work to do to get the yard ready for a nice lazy outdoor lounge. 😂 🍻
sounds good I like the evolving glitchy ambient style
Thanks so much. This was a fun experiment in melody for me. I'm trying to get more musical sounding patches, and the SWN by 4ms is a very deep machine for melodic stuff. 🍻
good job, keep on posting!
Thank You🍻.....there's so much content out there, I'm honored whenever anyone stops by to listen/watch. I hope you enjoyed. I try to put out at least one or two "audio experiments" every other week. Keep me on your radar if you enjoy weird and wonderful electronic "avant garde"/experimental sounds.
Make music and release more of it! i like it
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I usually put new stuff up on the channel once or twice every two weeks. I've sworn a sacred oath to relentlessly search for the perfect sound and I enjoy sharing my experiments with anyone who cares to listen. Thanks for watching 🍻
What a nice setup!
Thanks 👍. It's a great source of weird and unsettling noises. Thanks for watching.
definitely psychedelic! love the vibe of this... can get completely lost in the sounds. you always do such a nice job of creating these beautiful soundscapes with lots of elements all coming together perfectly.
I'll referr you to where you can get your psychedelic products…
@polbudy
Thanks so much. I'm learning to use the 4ms wavetable synth for more melodic stuff......it's a great module that has so much potential for experimentation. It felt like a one trick pony at first tbh, but eventually I got around to diving deep into the manual and getting my head around some of the more complex features. I'm glad you enjoyed this and thanks for listening/watching🍻
@@YoudGil I'm good, but thanks, I tend not to buy psychedelic products from strangers online anymore....not after that nasty business in the early 2000s when I woke up inside of a chicken coop wearing a Frankenstein mask 🫠
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 😂😂 I understand, it's cool. Just trying to recommend because that's where I get mine and I've never had such experience 😂
Wonderful! Such a meditative mood (and nice to see our system in full flow, too). Don't know if the whole world will calm down, but this kitchen in Tokyo definitely did!
😀 Awesome! Your comme t made me smile.I'm so glad you enjoyed.... 🍻, .....yeah , it's a big , crazy world ....one kitchen at a time
@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 😅
great concept, the summer texture is my favorite so euphoric and hopeful
Thanks. Yes, summer is my favorite as well. I like your "hopeful" description. It seems very fitting of the sound. Thanks for listening 🍻
Excellent. This really fuels my deep dark fantasies.
Thanks for listening. I'm always grateful when my art can assist in any fantasy. That's what this channel is all about, I enjoy producing soundscapes that can be used as a backdrop to everyday life. Keep me on your radar and check in once in a while, I try to upload new content regularly and explore the dark, absurd, psychedelic and deliciously weird. Im glad you enjoyed. 🍻
Always excited to see a new upload from you. Lovely concept and video - a proper artist! I got properly lost in this for half an hour - thanks so much for sharing 😊
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I had some things on the shelf I wasn't sure if I'd ever use, stuff I jammed out but never really recorded video for , so I decided to see if I could find a concept to tie them together. The 4 seasons seemed to work as something to evolve each piece under. Thanks for listening, and I'm always happy to help with missing time space outs 🫠🍻
