Really pretty footage!
Thank you!
How'd u get that board to move like that lol
Good looking footage and cool music; a whole 1970s feeling.
Thank you.
Was this with a meteor m42 lens?
Yes, I shot it with the m42. Very sharp lens!
This is beautiful! Those greens are spell-binding - Thanks for sharing :)
Hey! I love your video and I have a serious question: I am currently in the making of an analog music video and I would LOVE to use some of your scenes (since they almost look like mine - but I'm missing some beautiful landscape scenes). Yours would fit the video SO well. Would be great to collaborate ! THX and keep up the amazing work !

Your 16mm films, this one in particular caused a K3 and 50D purchase last night...so, i hate you and also thank you <3 The whole thing is just beautiful. =
Thank you, im glad this one resonated with you! I hope you enjoy using your K3, you wont regret it, easy to use and has a nice sharp lens, whatch out though 16mm is kinda addictive $$
How did u achieved Super 16 with this camera?
I purchased the Camera on ebay with an already modified gate to fit the super 16mm frame.
Hello ! I am a seller from Russia. I trade on ebay soviet cinemas k3 super16mm .. my nickname on instagram and on eBay is p1cn1ck
Amazing! What did do to make the image so stable? Did you use a tripod? Thanks for sharing
Hello, thanks. Yes, I use a tripod, manfroto, a fairly heavy one so it would be steady.
Gorgeous compositions! I just picked up a Krasnogorsk 3 modified for Super 16. So pumped to shoot a test roll - I’d appreciate any advice you might have.
Thank you! sorry for the late reply, I just read your comment. Hope you have enjoyed your K3 so far. In my case, my biggest cave beat with the camera was sanding down the gate silky smooth with sand paper until it did not scratch the film, as this can be visible in the footage and leave residue collecting in the frame. So yeah, once you sand it down really good, it should not be a problem. Other than that, it is a really solid camera. Always tape it really nice on the outside to avoid light leaks. Cheers.
Wow this looks really great What was the recipe for cefenol?
Thanks! I use Caffenol-C-H recipe, recipe chart can be found here: caffenol.blogspot.com/2010/08/recipes.html
Outstanding results
Where was this processed/scanned?
hi, this was processed and scanned at Spectra film and video.
omg
Does your K3 have loop formers?
Hi, no I got those removed, does it seem to you like the film is being scratched or maybe a registering issue?
O.K. Let's break it down: during exposition your frame is moving vertically. It might be wrongly formed loops (too small or too big), a pressure plate issue = your frame slips when it's supposed to be rock steady) or a fault in the mechanism (synchronism/timing) meaning the shutter is open when the pulldown claw is advancing the frame. Any chance to upload video footage of your K-3 working (open, preferably with scrap film running to see and hear what's going on). My bet is timing issue (needs to be fixed in the front assembly - I can help) since it's a long vertical streak. Also: check the sprocket holes of your processed footage. If there is any damage, the pattern can tell us more about what's wrong.
As soon as I get some film to run through the camera I will record it with the camera opened and upload it on my channel. So by the pressure plate being rocksteady, it should still allow for the film to mover vertically into the take up reel but not allow for it to move vertically by very lightly pulling it with the hand. right? thanks for the help.
@@truefilm1556 having same problem with arriflex 16bl. any advice on that. believe its a timing issue
Yep,it's a quality.
what is it the music?

Buen trabajo!
awesome!
great S8 footage - love the transfer and lack of grain!
I like the style dude, very cool
Thanks for the answer! I've wathced some 4k videos from RED cameras and I honestly can't see a very big diffrence compared to hacked GH2 videos, atleast on youtube! That's really awesome. I have a T2i and I'm pretty disappointed with the video quality. Are you planing on buying the new GH3?
Very nice video! God.. This quality is tremendously good! What was the bitrate shot for this video? What lens? And what format did you export the video to? Sorry for asking so much but you did so well I'm very curious :) Thanks in advance!
nice,dude
Very vibrant and saturated colours. The dogs seem to fit well with Super 8 film. Have you done similar reels with other cameras? I find the Nikon R10 is like the brass ring of Super 8 cameras.
Great little clip.Just wondering did you use a timer remote or was it shot manually?
I will gladly make some more as soon as I get a night with enough clear sky. I have tried using a shutter speed of 30 sec in the past but it creates noticeable star trail, this one clip was done using 15sec shutter speed with iso 400.. I will experiment with Iso 1600 and shutter speed 20sec on my next clip.
The texture of the water is beautiful. Video could never look like this. This film has an impressionist quality to it. Looks great!
