There is so much beauty to be seen, most of it beyond our comprehension within the realms of the very small places under our feet, or beyond our farthest gaze into the stars. My goal is to take you on a journey to these places, so you may find and see the beauty as I see it too.

Very interesting discussion of a complex issue. The fact that this was created by Artificial Intelligence probably explains why the content was more intelligent and enlightening than most conversations about Climate Change. It's nice to see A.I. being utilized for content like this as opposed to what many content creators are using A.I. for on TH-cam and other platforms for general consumption. Thank you.
Having fun is the most important win. Fun video, thank you.
Real World Railroads would not go up and over a small bump of a "hill" (at around timestamp 52:00) there would be a cut through the rise to avoid the slight change in elevation. What is missing in Railroads Online is the ability to modify terrain. Granted, Railroads Online is just a game, which explains all the non-prototypical elements in the game. That said, Railroads Online, despite all the constraints and shortcomings, is still fun. The graphics and scenery and Locomotives and Rolling Stock are beautiful. As is this video. Thank you.
I was really hoping that this game would support VR at some point, but still and interesting experience if you're a rail fan of some kind.
A bunch of liberals trashing the desert.
great guy. This deserves a like
I didn't know I needed a train game.
Brilliant tutorial. Got me going a treat. Thank very much Desert Charley!
lol you gonna need to redo this tutorial since 1.0 came out
You are RIGHT! All those menus and the interface has changed so much.

Another good podcast!

Interesting video! Good job!
Cool video!!! Good job Charles!
What if Europa may not be the only moon with a subsurface ocean in our solar system?
There’s a lot of exciting evidence suggesting that Europa might not be the only moon in our solar system with a subsurface ocean! Several other moons are also believed to have hidden oceans beneath their icy crusts. For example, Enceladus, one of Saturn’s moons, has water-ice plumes shooting out from its south pole, indicating a global ocean beneath its surface. Even more interesting, this ocean might be in contact with a rocky core, which could mean hydrothermal activity, a potential energy source for life. Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, has surface lakes and rivers of liquid methane, but beneath its icy shell, scientists think there could be a subsurface ocean of water mixed with ammonia. Ganymede, Jupiter’s largest moon, likely has a salty subsurface ocean as well, though it's deep beneath a thick layer of ice. Another one of Jupiter’s moons, Callisto, is also suspected to have a subsurface ocean, though it’s less geologically active than the others. Even Neptune’s moon Triton might have a hidden ocean based on observations of geysers and surface features made by Voyager 2. All of this is super interesting because liquid water is one of the key ingredients for life as we know it. Studying these moons could help us understand the potential for habitability beyond Earth, and with upcoming missions like the Europa Clipper and JUICE, we’re getting closer to finding out what lies beneath these icy worlds!
@DesertCharleyVideos it is thought that an ocean of ammonia mixed with methane and surface temperature crystallization would shallow occur on Titan's surface. Would such be possible?
@@CSSUcommand While methane and ethane dominate Titan’s surface liquids, it’s the interaction between the surface, the atmosphere, and this hypothetical ammonia-rich ocean beneath the ice that raises intriguing questions. Future missions could potentially help confirm whether such conditions exist and how these chemical processes might operate in Titan's unique environment.
Who knew tires could be so interesting lol
Wow I didn't know they knew about the "O" ring issue!
I used to keep a copy of the Challenger report on my desk at JPL and would pull it out whenever I needed to quote it. It’s a reminder of how critical it is to listen to the engineers and prioritize safety.
Ah man, I want my name in a bottle sent to a distance ice moon! Lol
how do you put names on those blank signs would like to do it to my set up can not find tutorial on it thanks
Looks awesome 👍 great job inspiring thank you all the best to your club
Love it!!
pity, the habitats of these plants are not recreated, they act lost somehow
I have some widening to do to my streets, appreciate the video
Is this for real?🎉🎉
I would think it might be better to set up next to a large trailer to block some wind ?
i salute you!
why, why, why… would people do this?
That is an amazing way to experience the playa. Don't be surprised if next year you have some new wagon babies.
Awesome setup 😁
Lame !'
Be nice
Hi Charlie! I am 72 years old semi disabled, I live in California for years and never knew about Burning Man I'm not quite sure how that happened but I now live in Ohio hating every minute of it, while watching burning Man Every year I have joked that I'm going to decorate my walker, and head on out to Burning Man, LOL. If I knew someone that would come with me, I'd be there. So Charlie I just wanted you to know that I'm really glad there are people in our age bracket that still make it to Burning Man. I hope you had a blast and I hope you can continue to go every year.
Just plan to go next year. Connect with your regional burners and Mobility Camp. They will show you the way. You can do this. You will make great friends along the way.
Sick people
nothing like a playa sandstorm!! unless you get a rain storm...
Show us how it goes in 4 days time
Wind is too much, i tried to skip through the video to see if it would be less infuriating, but I couldn't watch this
Charlie, you need to get yourself a noise reducer for your mic. Just sticking a cotton ball or a small piece of foam over it might do the trick.
I'm just wondering... how did you get your "RV" to Burning Man?... Is there a bigger RV which transported it?... Have Fun!
I watched Thunderbirds as a kid. Go Thunderbird 2!
Nope
radical self-importance rulezzz!
Was wondering about solar set up never used the Jackery brand -but it looks like a good set up. Thanks for showing.
Playa bugs?! 😮
Damn bro, taking minimalism to the next level here. See ya on the playa!
That's a pretty sweet rig! Have fun out there
Did mom kick you out lol
He's 64 chances are mom is dead.
Love it! So creative! Drop by to get some spam musubi at 7:00/D on Tuesday & Thursday 9pm-11pm
so so rad! my leg is messed up so I would need to add some sort of mobile power source.
Thanks for sharing! Safety Third!
What are your rules for cutting trees beneath steel trestles? Do you cut everything beneath the trestle, or let them grow as long as they don't poke through the railbed... I don't like high trestles either, but in a world where you are unable to build a tunnel or blast out a rock outcropping sometimes that leaves us with no choice.
I clear all the adult trees from under the trestles, but I leave the baby trees because our MOW crew suck. :)
