What a brilliant day we had across the state, we had warm sunshine and light winds, it peaked at 20.7C in the city, the warmth will be here for the next 3 days as well tops of 20C on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Then a cold front will move through on Friday bringing a much cooler weekend than the one we just had

I haven’t lived in Melbourne south east for 2 years but I am happy to see that roundabout on Thompson’s road and narre Warren road is gone! Used to spend ages stuck there driving from Berwick to Frankston!

Love this. Living in Eltham I have driven over those roads between Hurstbridge and Warrandyte hundreds of times, and never tire of the scenery,

Blackburn Road. I love this road, it isn't as busy as Springvale Road which basically takes you from and to the same points.

I live near Airport West and it was good video for those that can't travel al that much! Thanks!

I know this route very well as I have a house in Cowes. I can see this drive was done early morning just after sun rise most likely on a Sunday, as the Monash FW traffic inbound traffic was low. It was interesting to see the route you took to get to Cardinia Rd. Subscribed and 6th liked

was hoping you were going via the Bylong Valley. Its only slightly longer but much more scenic. Bells line of road is a decent alternative

Interesting that you choose to go via Pakenham. Noticed that on your trip to Leongatha too. I always used to go via Cranbourne

Coming over the hill in Frankston South and seeing the Bay coming into view is one of my favourite sights when driving around Melbourne :) Good luck with the new series 👍

Crappy weather ( midweek winter? ) has its upside, very little traffic. Summer weekends can be gridlock around Lorne-Apollo Bay and the 12 Apostles

If you're down this way again can I suggest going through Trafalgar and Thorpdale to Mirboo North from Moe. Its almost the same time/distance as going by the Strezlecki Hwy but considerably more scenic

Wow they have dropped the speed limit from 100 to 80km/h virtually the entire distance between Nar Nar Goon and Longwarry. Crazy.

And the squeaky little infants got their way, in the hope that the adults will forget there was a William Slim Drive

Good video, but you follow the car in front a bit too closely for my liking.

The Nepean Hwy is never this quiet at 7am unless it Christmas morning or Anzac Day!

Wow, it felt... just... *_wrong..._* to be going so slowly around there. But gives a whole new perspective on the course, and just how technical the downhill curvy bits are.

Nice video. I have very fond memories of Warrnambool as a beautiful and hospitable town at the end of the Great Ocean Road. Specifically I remember staying at the Comfort Inn and eating at the Cattleya Thai Restaurant in the town centre; it's a great place to be after a full days driving.

Thanks for this and i am very surprised that 5 or 6 lanes do not help the traffic flow faster like 100KM though city, the population growth gone too fast. I from Bendigo as we do have problem slow 80K on Tullamarine Freeway to City. IF i am in hurray bypass Melbourne better off from 11pm to 5am morning.
