8/13/2024 Update: The channel name was changed from "A Little Explorer" to "A Life Explorer", as Ian is not that little anymore! :D The handle was also changed to @ALifeExplorer
Hi~ This channel was originally created to privately share Ian's daily life with his grandparents in Korea. However, the channel was repurposed to publicly share ideas of safe learning activities during the COVID-19 lockdown period. While Ian is happy to go to school and play with his friends now, we decided to continue to update this channel with similar contents as Ian experiences new things. Not sure what lies in his future, but hope you find his journey interesting and helpful to your (kid's) own.

Ian passed his 2nd-degree black belt test today. He plowed through poomsae, breaking, and 2:1 kyorugi flawlessly. The moment his 7-years of sweat and tears were rewarded with an additional gold bar on his black belt! You are awesome Ian!!

Mozart Piano Sonata No. 16 in C Major, K.545, 1st movement only. (edited) Ian was recently invited to a school talent show and, very fortunately, he had this piece just memorized (just the 1st mvt :D). Still very rough and needs a lot of elaboration, but Ian was happy to have something presentable for the audiences he loves.

Taekwondo Oklahoma State Grand Prix, Cadet (12-14 Y.O) black belt division (March, 2024) It's been 2 years since Ian participated in a tournament. New rules (WTF Cadet), new fighting style. Kudos to Ian for deciding to compete in tournaments again.

Ian riding snowboard down 4 O'clock (Peak 8, Blue), Crosscut (Peak 8 to Peak 9, Blue), Lower Sawmill (Peak 9, Green), and Silverthorne (Peak 9 base area, Green). Lower Sawmill was a no-fun energy-drainer, as usual, but the rest of the course was fun.
