    I can't help but to tear up watching this.. I'm really gonna miss Arrieta, he was a huge key in all their success, I mean 54 wins from 15-17 that's not easy to do! 22, 18, 14.. If his walks wouldn't have nearly doubled in 2016 he would've had another 3 wins.. If he could've kept his walks around 50 like the year before he would've been like 21-7 with a 2.75 ERA and prolly would've won the Cy Young again.. I'm really gonna miss him.. Without him cubs don't win the World Series! That's a fact!

    First off, how is Diaz's homer better than Bartolo Colon's homerun? Second, how is a compilation of Gary Sanchez's homers so high on the list?! I agree the Dee Gordon homer was good, but why the heck is that number one! I'm a Giants fan, and I'd rather have the INDIANS win but that should be #1! To sum it up, the best homer in MLB history vs a homer after the death of JF(when he was a cardinal) and 108 years of waiting(the oldest person alive was alive for both the Cubs World Series titles) vs an emotional homerun... YOU ARE SO STUPID

    • @mlbhotfire219
      @mlbhotfire219 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      RiverCatsFilms RiverCatsFilms Because Diaz was Jose Fernandez' childhood friend and he hit that home run right after jose died. For me, that's more special than bart's home runs

    • @RiverCatsGaming
      @RiverCatsGaming 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MLBHOTFIRE you are clearly a Marlins fan. And can you please explain why emotions are better than 108 year of waiting. I'd bet my parents age doesn't combine to that number

    • @10Peter25
      @10Peter25 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think a player's tragic death more poignant than a team breaking a 108-year championship drought, so I don't begrudge you ranking the final out of the Cubs' World Series win No. 2 on your list behind Dee Gordon's home run, even though I am a die-hard Cubs fan. I don't care what RiverCatsFilms says. A couple moments I think you could have included on your list: Jake Arrieta's no-hitter (the only no-hitter thrown in 2016) and Willson Contreras hitting a homer on the first pitch ever thrown to him in a Major League game. Otherwise a great list. I enjoyed watching it.

    • @RiverCatsGaming
      @RiverCatsGaming 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eldred Brown honestly, there was 108 years of emotional years vs 2 days. No hate though

    you could tell that Jose had an impact on the night after he died. First that night in the Marlins first ab since his death Dee Gordon who was wearing his helmet and jersey, hit a homerun. Later that night a close friend he grew up with, Aledmys Diaz, hit a grand slam after returning from the ceremony. You can tell he was with is friends. The cardinals commentators and the viewers felt something. And that was Jose.

      Dirk Some Your ignorance blinds you. The home run was more about the RESPECT he has as a friend, yes, he did make a mistake, but the home run was a huge moment to pay tribute to him. I am a cubs fan, and putting them at #2 seemed like a better decision.

    • @thegamingduo8263
      @thegamingduo8263 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      jgiambi23 I understand it was a sad moment and we will never forget it, but there has never been a more meaningful championship win in history than this year's cubbies winning the world series. It is an extremely important moment in sports history and it hasn't happened in 108 years. Respects will be given to players that have passed on, but this year was about the revival of a sports team who worked their asses off to get to where they are. Fernandez will be missed, but it's we still need to consider how substantial this world series win is.

      Ami Onuki I'm sorry but a world series win after 108 ducking years is more substantial than a home run no matter the situation. It will probably go down in history as the most important championship win ever. It's very sad to see players die in sports, but its not going to change history like the Cubs have. People will give their respects for this year and maybe the year after, but he won't be remembered for as long as this world series win.

      it wasn't his death, it was Dee Gordon, Fernandez's best friend, hitting his first home run of the season in his first at-bat after Fernandez's death. I agree it was awful he had alcohol and cocaine in his system, but at the end of the day he was a great player and will be missed
