Conference Crossover Conversation - Olympic Trials MFS Bracket Talk
I love wrestling content but this show is unwatchable. Holmes is only one on the show with a pulse.
Josh Barr is at 184, that is why Starocci is 197.. That and even though he may be able to beat Keckeisen…is he going to put it all on the line to change a big part of his legacy to face him? Or is it a more likely title at 197 vs Cardenas and Buchanan?
what allegations?
Maybe there should be a cap for the team as it is in professional sports
To keep wrestlers they should pay based on current season results. Maybe 50k base pay. Conference champ add 50k, national finalist another 50k, national champ add another 50k or more
Insane conversation. Flip this question on its head. What do OK State rivals fear? It's David Taylor. I'm sure other B12 would be thrilled to have Coleman Scott as OSU coach. The same way that NC State fans were thrilled to have Coleman Scott as the UNC coach. Does Coleman really move the needle? No, he doesn't. I'm a Tar Heel grad and love the guy, but David Taylor absolutely raises the ceiling. I will admit David Taylor probably has a lower floor, but they don't care about the floor, they're looking at the high ceiling.
Not sure how many people took note but Coach Tanelli published a "screed of suprise and disappointment" earlier during the regular season. Don't remember if it was on X or Instagram but he was clearly and justifiably upset with the lack of recognition and respect his Columbia team and his AA threats were receiving. Fast forward to perhaps the biggest coaching mike drop of the off season so far. WIN/WIN for Coach T and VT. As for Columbia, well, as Ricky Ricardo once wisely said. "Whoaa, you got some SPLAININ to do.." #StercusDevolvbat
Outstanding interview with a person who shines brightest the more he involves himself back in the sport.
Hopefully he can qualify the weight and go on to Paris.
Awesome job David Carr.
Great guy.
I lost a father recently also, sucks man, looking at Kyle was like looking at myself. Wish you all the best, man.
We, as a country, are BLESSED to have young Queens like this amazing woman. 👏👍💪🤙👌🤗
What a likeable person! good luck in Pari!
Dude this kids gonna be a problem in a year or two close to 6'5
Penn State, and Spencer Lee fan, happy to see him win been following him for years!!!
The future Iowa wrestling coach!
Hearing Spencer will come to NLWC to train for the Olympics !!!! Would be a Great Idea to train !!!!
Good job Spencer👏👏👏👏👏👏
I didn't know Josh Allen wrestled
Who’s Josh Allen
I loved this dude after he said excuses are for wussies a few years ago but when he lost in college then quit and didn’t wrestle again the rest of the tournament, I lost that. Dude would kill me he is an Olympian I get all of it, just stating my opinion.
he looks like a clone of Teague Moore from North Allegheny/OK State.....
I hope he sticks around and gets in better shape. He's got the attitude, talent, just not the stamina.
I think Spencer will win in Turkey. Good to see him healthier.
Damn how are you just going to ignore those kids in the background. You better start forming relationships with the youth for your eventual coaching career.
lol chill hes always out signing autographs let the man have his moment dild
No clue what happened after the interview, but he's focused on answering the media's questions. Can't blame the kids for wanting to get his attention, maybe he should've waved or something to acknowledge them, but it is what it was.
He literally looked over at them and gave them the heart hands thing.
PD3 REPRESENT
1st, shout out to @Claunchinator for the Gardner-Webb hat. As to the wt class conundrum it's actually funny. The subtraction of wt classes, originally done to shall we say "adjust" Americas burgeoning greatness, no longer serves its purpose. We are too damn good at every wt class. And threatening to improve. Of COURSE who wouldn't want to see a 20 strong USA FS team kick ass. But if we HAVE to be satisfied with just 12 or 10 medals, well, ok I guess....😂❤👏👍💪
A true champion!
Impressive
thanks IMW
Nice work Gabe,congrats
Take a shot, staller welsh
Hope Carter comes back and kicks your butt, again
Shake hands the proper way, boy.
Grats to Him! Nice to see the Lock Haven guys behind him!
By the hand of God you will be healed
Ty performed an extremely high level and stay tuned for next year Ty finished this year in the top 4 @ 149 pound weight class . Keep your eye on this wrestler next year .
you were incredible 🥵
Beast mode
🐐
As a Hokie, I was sorry he didn’t beat Aaron Brooks tonight.
Great for you...integrating that whole escapade of taking off from Cuba...landing in the States...Mum is proud of you, Dad can work on his metaphors, too...
Congrats Quinny !!!
portal to mich, heavys open next year
Put it in Crookham tonight boi
As much as I like Hidlay, I really don't see him beating brooks.
Mendez could dominate everyone and people will still be low on him. He’s gonna put it on Beau if they meet. I see the gap getting bigger.
Everyone is so high on Ramos. I will not be surprised if he makes it to the finals and wins but also he’s been so inconsistent I don’t think he will get it done. But I’m choosing Volk lol so what do I know
Anything can happen at this weight. Ramos didn't have a great start to the season but then had a very consistent stretch where he held the top spot the longest, which doesn't say much at 125 this year, but he had a solid run which gives me some confidence in picking him. But honestly, you're not crazy for picking Volk, I feel like he could be this year's Ramos in the sense of being underrated but very capable.
@@MrRHolmes1 Thats why i chose him, hes always in every match and maybe he really comes alive this weekend but his chances are as good as anyone's.
@@MrRHolmes1 well that didn’t go well for me 😂
Nice. Congrats man.
"If you wrestle that dual 10 times, it doesn't look like that the other 8 of the 10 times." A bold statement considering one of Michigan's wins was a 1-0, #3 against a then unranked opponent. Underestimating Nebraska in this case. I think they were overlooked to begin with and that is what happens. Gomez's only defense WAS a throw. Gomez hasn't improved, Lovett has and that's why he's number 1.
