Buddy, I am not questioning the greatness of Sardar Patel. But he could have been celebrated by using that money to build a great hospital or school too. A statue worth 3000 crores is wasteful. In fact, you could just open a huge park for a fraction of that amount and still drive tourism. And let's not even start on whether the 3000 cr amount was actually spent or lined the pockets of politicians and contractors. So, please ...give it a rest.

Not when you consider the fact that Sachar Committee report had shown that human development indicators for Muslims were worse than SC/ST communities. You can take the example of Umair khal** now no one even care where is he . Only who suffered is him and his family. There are many more examples, I think the only way to end this is by changing people's mindset, removing the shit in their brains filled by chhapri youtubers and money, power hungry politicians . Which will take decades . My heart hurts when I see some mainstream youtubers and media spreading shit and communal hatred while the youtubers making healthy content and actually working hard don't even have 10% subs and views . Which is also a proof that in India citizens want kalesh, hatred, mocking etc. I follow the religion of Islam ,Day before yesterday one classmate mocked me while I was sharing my lunch , he said to his friend that they should not eat my lunch( pointing out to the news of that house helper who was caught mixing bodyfluids) the name of her was revealed and she was not even muslim but all news channels, chhapri youtubers spread it and none of them apologised for spreading wrong information and as always no action was taken against them by authorities.

Our spending on education is 2.9% of the budget - whereas Sri Lanka invests 11% of their budget. People keep crying about reservations instead of questioning the government on why there aren't enough educational institutions and seats for everyone!

This is exactly why we need a government that would regulate these things, and a state player in all major industries, regardless of whether they make profit or not - they would at least help keep prices down for end consumers i.e. common public.

He will cut corners to keep profits high, for sure. His scams are how he gets these contracts, not the work itself.

And I am a citizen in this democracy and the people who are being wronged are also citizens and stakeholders, who have the right to have a say. You might be okay with competition dying because Adani paid off your "ruler" but I'm not - and I will speak my mind. And regardless of how much reverence you might have for these people, the outcome of their actions will affect you too in the future. When in ten years, all inflation would be sky high because everything will be controlled by a handful of Adanis and Ambanis, do you think you'll get things cheaper because you pledged allegiance to the rulers? Think about it.

But money has great power too. In fact, I am pretty sure here money is the master. Modi and others are just riding on industrialists to retain power and create cushy lives for their families and generations to come, while screwing over the billions who expect them to represent them fairly.
