She is I believe, during events she is capturable or from farming loot you can craft the permit. Although I’m currently not sure if the event is going on right now.

I use a 3rd-party post-processing thingamabob called ReShade, just download, install plugins and set it however you want. I have my preset for Naval Action, can share and you just need to put the file in the game folder after you install ReShade. Tbh I can't quite remember but if my eyes don't deceive me, those are carros, judging by the ballistics too.

This particular one is Teak(S) frame and White Oak(S) planks. Might not be the best combination of woods these days, there's been so many changes, but I'm still a Teak(var) main.

@@chrysanthcrest how do you feel about Loc(s)/Sab(s) cause thats what I usually do for tankier ships

Sorry took too long to reply. I like Loc(S)/Sab(S) combination too for tankier ships, especially useful in fights such as HDF or Epic Events where you might not be able to angle to all enemies to mitigate the damage.

Heya mate, in my very honest opinion, with 3.06k hours behind me, this game is definitely worth it, especially when it's on sale; only about EUR 5 or 6. DLCs are also not a must, however there are two that's strongly recommended if you're playing hardcore. Personally, the biggest problem this game has is that it doesn't have enough (new) content anymore, since the dev is busy with Sea Legends (I think), but it's also less chance for them to turn it for the worse like what Wargaming is actively doing to World of Warships.. and I really don't see any update makes things worse in this game.. some are major changes sure, but none are nowhere enough to be called bad.. at least in my memory, which is something. TL;DR if you like sail ships, and make and see ships go boom (or sink), get it, especially during a sale.

Well there are already enough good tutorial videos on YT; sailing, gunnery, etc. But I'd say start with choosing the right nation for you. Am not sure about the PvP server, can only judge by how many ports a nation have: na-map.netlify.app/ (can change settings to see the PvE map too) On PvE on where I play, the smaller nations aren't as active as the big ones such as the British and the French. (two nations with most ports) And then choose the right clan; if you're going to play on PvE, tell me which nation you want to try and I'll try to find a clan I can refer you to. PvE has a United Nation Discord server, so it's easy to talk with people of different nations, etc. Most PvE clans I know will try to give you everything you need for starting up, money, ships, etc. After that I'd say is the matter of learning manual sailing, angling, gunnery, etc.

Mostly put buy contract for those at La Navasse for 300k-330k each. But it was a long time ago, not really profitable anymore.

In terms of base damage and DPM: Blomes > Navies > standard longs, but the penetration values: Navies = standard longs > Blomes.

@@legendgaming744 Penetration value decides whether your shot penetrates the armour you're shooting at or not. Pen value > relative armour thickness -> your shot does damage, otherwise it'll just ricochet or bounces off the armour. If by "stronger" you mean which gun deals the most HP damage, then Blomefields are the guns you want to have. Generally Blomes are regarded as the best guns there is, since engagements at longer ranges that could use the extra pen value are probably going to be pretty rare.

It definitely is fun, I used to farm these missions for doubloons and happy pew pew session, but since they changed the gun and armour, it became a tad more difficult, but definitely doable.

Back then ships for sale had insane price, and S woods are still really expensive, so doing that was more profitable. But ever since rare woods was introduced and devaluation of doubloons, among other things, that method is really expensive now. Although now we as a clan hunt HDF regularly, so that also helps with S woods supply.

It was also the very first thing I did after the battle, removing the FB.. well, but accidentally I removed the entire thing...............

Currently only from Wooden Chests doing HDF runs maybe once a week and daily spending of Labour Hour, also make my own tools, buying unseasoned logs with doubloons at the Admiralty. Since I don't want/need to build as many ships as I used to, this is enough for me. If you do HDF runs regularly and loot all 13 chests, you'll get plenty of S woods in no time. (Well, you need maybe 6 or 7 people in 1st rates to do this comfortably) Back in the days I used to enslave myself to AFK trading, buy Labour Hour Contracts and Tools and season it that way, but prices changed now it's not profitable anymore.. and then rare woods were introduced so I enslaved myself even more buying these but not anymore. lol

Yea, (un)fortunately they shortened the fire duration and decreased the danger of fire on a ship. Only getting a decent fire going if you have Fireship upgrade, think they changed that few months ago.

This I believe is a Teak(S)-framed, White Oak(S)-planks Agamemnon, equipped with standard long guns on all decks, upgrades are Navy Planking for armour thickness, Northern Master Carpenter for repairs and British Gunnery Sergeant for faster reload. I think perks were: Master Carpenter, Emergency Master, and I forgot the rest, it's most likely Determined Defender, Double Shot/Double Charge. (The first two perks I recommend a must-have in any battle situation). Books were: Seeferkel's Last Log, Art of Ship Handling, Gunnery Encyclopaedia, Expert Carpentry Handbook and Repairing. Port bonuses were: Gunnery 4, Hull 4, Sailing 4, Crew 4, since my shipyard is at San Juan. Today SJ also has the Mast&Rig 2.

Hmm, I don't know all the good hunting spots in Open World, but for us British (that I know): - Pirates 4th rates Windward Channel - Mixed nations 3rd-1st rates: Saint-Nicolas - Jeremie - Port-au-Prince - Pirates 2nd-1st rates: La Isabela - Bahia Escocesa - Mixed nations 3rd-1st rates: Southern coast of Hispaniola - Prussian/Danish 4th-3rd rates (sometimes): Eastern coast of Puerto Rico - French/Swedish solo 1st rates: Aves - Basse-Terre - Plymouth Hope that helps.

They introduced something like an intro mission when logging on the first time after account creation, and I think you can skip it. Then in your nation capital, in the port, at the top of the screen next to "LEAVE PORT" there should be a book icon with question mark on it, that's where you'd find the tutorial OR Top left, cogs icon (or just ESC key) should bring you a menu, you'll also find the Tutorial there.

@@chrysanthcrest First you need to remember the following if you want to press the attack at the last second you need 60 preparation, and any defensive move or secondary attack need 30 preparation :)
