Bad Ass HotRod. !!!
@@mofer35 thanks
Houch, in order to remove the torque tube, remove the six bolts at the banjo, remove the one bolt holding the radius rods to the t-tube. Then, remove the snap ring on the front end of the drive shaft behind the spline. Slide out the speedo drive gear thrust washer and slid the torque tube off the drive shaft. There is a seal and a sleeve that is pressed in the T-tube still in there and a big needle bearing that will come out when you slide the T-tube forward. To remove that seal and sleeve, get a piece of wood 2''x2'' x7'foot or longer than the T-tube and round one end the same diameter as the seal. Slide the wooden "stick" into the T-tube at the banjo end and stand the T-tube up on end and "tap" the stick on the floor and the seal will be pushed out with the sleeve. Install new seal with the same sleeve. Also, that is a 1934 transmission mount you have there. Good luck!
@@billblakeway1896 thanks
Hey Houch, that rear end is not a 1939 rear end. That's a 1934 rear end. The one that I'm guessing came with the car when new. That one-piece u-joint coupling is 34. That shock attachment on the rear end is 34 and the radius rods are 34 That rear spring with the arch sweeping forward is 34. You got yourself a 1934 rear end. And almost all came with 4:11 gears.
@@billblakeway1896 you are correct, I misspoke on the video, the transmission and block are 39. Thanks
Love a Mercury
Has it been lifted in the rear? 😮
@@chrismurnane6389 no, I'm gonna put some 18s on the back
Nope

There is a Guardian Angel for everyone you Know!!!
Very cool old 31👍🏻🇺🇲
That's cool
👍🇺🇸
Works for him, Good job
Is that a four cylinder?
Yep, original 30 model A 4 cyl, with a little hop up
Wow that's the real deal for sure.
👍Good stuff
Sounds and looks awesome
Sounds great
Yes sir. 🇺🇸Lookin good! Gotta have a get away!
👍Nice
I am working on my 31 Model A which is completely original, and the trunk itself has a small back plate with a hole for the pin to go through. This gives much more metal to support the trunk. Your trunk lid with that one worn-out hole is missing the flat metal plate with the hole for the pin.
Sounds like a P-51 mustang lol
I have that same hat! Love your hot rods
Thanks buddy
Raw Horsepower 💪🏿
I have been in plenty of slow and uncomfortable things, but that white one just looks cool. 😅
Is that a stolen Chevy Deluxe?
It's a 1926 Ford Phaeton on a 1930 model A running gear
The only problem with those are you have to be 5' and weigh 100 lbs.
I'm 6,3 250 and fit comfortably
