Dolphins are not useless. Actually they can actually give them enough fish. They will find you a treasure chest in a shipwreck, so it's not useless.

U play APCR the f u expected It to do? Blow a fucking tank and make space program? Then no, Use APHE

when you reach toptier youre gonna wish you were still playing arcade and having fun, i speak from experience...

Need chill and more luck gemeplay ? Go to arcade battles

1. Learn the map and the best psoitions (search WT tutorials for ez tips) 2. Use shells with good post-pen damage (it's easyer to penetrate with 60mm of pen but actually kill than penning everything but doing nothing inside) 3. Grind more for rand 2 tanks where Germany is actually fun (Sd.kfz. 234/2 Puma) 4. If you have admin rights (Unlike me) download Easy AntiCheat and play Realistic (more rewards+enemies don't see you immeadiately, camouflage actually does sh!t, flanking actually works, etc) This way you'll hate it better.

Adding on to what others are saying, APHE is significantly better than APCR. It often penetrates with similar performance, but the damage after penetration is much better than APCR. You can one-shot most tanks with APHE, if you shoot in the right place. APHE stands for Armor Piercing-High Explosive, meaning once it penetrates through the armor, the explosives inside detonate, releasing a cloud of death which often kills the entire crew. APCR stands for Armor Piercing Composite Rigid, and has very little after-penetration damage, such that you have to single out every crew member, or hit their ammo and hope it detonates. APCR is also very situational, as others have mentioned. It's best for tanks with incredibly high armor, more than your APHE rounds can penetrate. Arcade vs Realistic is up to preference, really. Arcade is often more fun than realistic, and it is easier than realistic. However, you do get more rewards for playing realistic, and tactics such as hiding and sniping are much better in realistic, since you don't have a name tag above your head showing everybody where you are. In comparison to Arcade, realistic does not have that penetration indicator, which shows where your rounds will hit and/or penetrate. It also doesn't have the name tags above your head, meaning that you have to look for targets yourself, but it also means it's harder for enemies to spot you.
