New purchase alert, Jaguar content within!!!

Just what it says in the title, changing a brake light bulb. My videos really need a bit more editing, I managed to get most of it out of frame! Makes you realise how polished the pro’s are and the effort that goes into their content.

I know, it’s been done to death, but CSL reps look so good! When the Coupe first came out, EVO mag ran a mini road test on a 3.0Si that had been breathed on. Here I show you a bit of clay bar detailing. The results are so so, from a distance it’s beginning to look superb again, but up close there are some paint issues which I think are due to it being sat out unloved for such a long time. Yep, the seats are horrid, lots of ingrained grime to deal with, made all the more challenging due to the yellow colour. The results aren’t perfect, but they are an improvement I think. I’ve not splashed out on auto specific cleaning products, it’s just stuff from home or any basic automotive retailer. As you can tell, I’m not a detailer, nor will I ever be. Thanks for watching.

Sorry about the bit of wind noise, I’m waiting for a mic to turn up. The Z4 now has MoT, Tax, insurance and is good to go. It failed yesterday on emissions, so I bought a catalyst cleaner and let it run upto temp this morning before its retest. This time I got a pass! The Z4 headlights have probably had the most attention whilst getting the car road worthy. One has had a new ballast box, both have been dried out as were full of water, both have had new rear covers to hopefully keep the water out. Both were looking a bit dull, so before the bumper went back on, they had a slight polish. I’m pretty pleased with the results!

I have been having an explore around the back of the bi-xenon headlights whilst waiting for the new ballast box to arrive.

This was on the day I got it back to mine, so out of order compared to the other videos. I think you can tell from my voice, I was quite excited.

At (bal)-last I’ve sorted why the drivers headlight wasn’t working. The ballast box was very rusty at the contacts, so new items will be ordered. I’ll do both sides and have a spare I think.

Half a Z4 into a Volvo? Yes, it fits.

Post-cleaning results. Not perfect, needs lots of detailing, but it’s an improvement.
