ultramarathon diaries ep 30: doing the things within my control
day 30 of my daily vlogging challenge and tbh it’s been a lot. juggling work, vlogging, ultramarathon training and being back home has me feeling pretty overwhelmed. BUT i’m so proud of staying consistent and showing up every day.
today i hit the gym, visited my friend/mentor and even went on a spontaneous horse ride.
i’ve realized i need to take a step back to figure out how to make this whole process more sustainable and take care of my well-being. i’ll be taking a few days off vlogging to reset and plan my next steps.
i’m taking a few days off vlogging and i’ll be back with weekly vlogs soon!

Seeing the fairy houses! It literally makes you wish for the old times -- I used to make fairy houses when I was little. I would set up tables with acorns on it for them when I would visit my grandparents every summer. They had this huge oak tree (which always gave the best twigs in order to build things with) that I swore was magical. When I would go out the next day the acorns would be gone. Whether squirrels or something else, it kept me believing in the simple things.
