Cold Front Fishing Ozello, Non-Stop Action!! - Kayak Fishing Florida
After a big cold front rolled through, we had a great day with non-stop action. We had a gameplan, stuck to it, and it paid off big time.

We spent a very cold day out on the nature coast going up the river. It's a gorgeous place, and in the spring lot's of fish push up into the warm water. Spent the day in Ozello with my buddy, caught an inshore slam but didn't get the trout on video. This is my first video, just put together with a cheap action cam, not great editing software, and a underpowered computer. Videos should be getting better moving forward. I just bought a DJI action cam, and am due for a new computer so I'm going to get one that can handle editing software better.

It was so pretty
The trout have been stacked up back there, water 4-5 degrees warmer than if you would have went NW from the launch. Good choice on our route.

My uncle takes me to a spot off Dixie Bay and the fishing is amazing. You can go out there and catch 20-30 fish easy. Got me a 27” red yesterday Jan 16 2025.

What do you use the see depth around where you are fishing?
@habiby203 if I run into the bottom I know it's shallow 🤣, other than that just eyeballing it. Been considering a fish finder but most of what I fish is very shallow
Where's a good place to launch a kayak in ozello?
@dougrackley4669 there's a few places, I use paddling.com and salt strong app to find launch spots. This one is pretty popular on the north end of ozello
