But take it.
I saw David Lindley and El rayo x at the proverbial tiny college bar in the 80s. Best show I've ever seen
I think David was there when i saw Jackson 15 years ago in Cincinnati OH for a bit. That was amazing. ♥️

Jackson and David! Always brilliant.
Go listen to them together on Song for Adam at the Main Point in 1975. Lindsey's fiddle is something you'll never forget.
Only Jesus Saves...
Jason Ricci yeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
❤🎉😊I love Jackson Browne ♥ ❤ 💖 💕 💓 💗 ♥ ❤ 💖 💕 💓 💗 ♥ ❤
BEATLES, ROCK MONSTERS!
This music makes me feel so warm and fuzzy, and brings back so many memories. We for sure had the BEST music and artists. Like my ex husband says, "All the best songs have all been written."
18 years ago. How time has flown by but still enjoying DL and JB music.
Hay they made a mistake! this is David Lindley featuring Jackson Browne!.. I miss ya "Bruddah Music" & most folk don't even know what a gift you gave everybody while hiding behind the scenes, but I, along w/ many love you big time.
this gentleman David Lindley plays beautifully ,not to forget their 2 voices singing in sweet harmony ,and with such emotion.jb what a talented man
Jackson Browne wrote take it easy eagles made famous Willie Nelson wrote crazy Patsy Cline made it famous
this song gives me chills it's so good by these two masters
Every time I go through Winslow, I stop and get out and stand on that corner. They've got statues of Browne and Frey and a flatbed Ford parked on the street.
Wow!
What a killer harmonica player
You are under arrest!
Magnificent. A plea to the world.
That is some of the best shit you will ever see in your life +++++ the guy is a monster plus JB wow
Best 5 rock performances ever.
"This is the Amish version." A rather smarmy remark. Fiddle player very musical.
Jackson Browne...my childhood hero.
Ricci slayed that shit
I've never been a fan of J Brown, but he has great tastes in musicians and Lindley is the best. So sad he is no longer with us but his loss is making find all the times he made music better.
Check out redneck friend
Sort of the later, faster version of the song, that showcased Bloomfield and Butter's interplay; this live homage missed some of that syncing of harp with guitar, obviously rehearsed in the Blues Band's recording, which let each go wild in solos, but come back together in the end, not battling but blending as a unit. This quality is too often left out of contemporary gigging bands that just seem like separate players fighting for attention, and not respecting the others, or the idea that the song takes priority, greater than the sum of the parts.
Love you, David!
Ringo, ну зачем?.....
awesome grerat R.i:p David
Nice tune - the violin solo takes this piece to a totally different level - "as for man, his days are like grass- he blooms like a flower of the field; when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more." Psalm 103 - Requiem aeternam dona eis Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him. +RIP David Lindley -
David Lindley is a virtuoso in every sense of the word. He will be sorely missed. RIP!
Mr. Dave on fiddle! R.I.P. to the Polyester Prince of Strings. We're all individuals, but he was truly one of a kind!
Well said. RIP David. Master of all things stringed.
I remember the first time I ever heard this wonderful song. It made me feel so good, I believed we could almost make a better world. 'Course, I grew up and learned better, but I never lost my love for this music. Thank you Jackson Browne and David Lindley.
RIP David Lindley. The maestro. :(
R.I.P. David Lindley
What an astonishing talent-a wizard on anything with strings. R.I.P. David Lindley.
R.I.P…. David Lindley.. a true national treasure that gave us all such joy.. and magical memories.. Bets
Ouf !!! Thank you for sharing
Beautiful 🤩
These two guys. No one this song as great as these guys do.
This song reminds me of my Uncle. Miss you Uncle Joe! I hope wherever you are out there among the stars, the fishing is good.
This is just a great song. Feels good and easy to listen to.
Jason Ricci is a next-level
Virgil Kane is the name And I served on the Danville train 'Till Stoneman's cavalry came And tore up the tracks again In the winter of '65 We were hungry, just barely alive By May the 10th, Richmond had fell It's a time I remember, oh so well The night they drove old Dixie down And the bells were ringing The night they drove old Dixie down And the people were singing They went, "Na, na, la, na, na, la" Back with my wife in Tennessee When one day she called to me "Virgil, quick, come see, There goes Robert E. Lee!" Now, I don't mind chopping wood And I don't care if the money's no good You take what you need And you leave the rest But they should never Have taken the very best The night they drove old Dixie down And the bells were ringing The night they drove old Dixie down And all the people were singing They went, "Na, na, la, na, na, la" Like my father before me I will work the land And like my brother above me Who took a rebel stand He was just 18, proud and brave But a Yankee laid him in his grave I swear by the mud below my feet You can't raise a Kane back up When he's in defeat The night they drove old Dixie down And the bells were ringing The night they drove old Dixie down And all the people were singing They went, "Na, na, la, na, na, la" The night they drove old Dixie down And all the bells were ringing The night they drove old Dixie down And the people were singing They went, "Na, na, la, na, na, la" Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Robbie Robertson The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down lyrics © Universal Music Corp., Canaan Music, Inc., Pw Arrangements, Canaan Music Inc.
So cute that Paul whispered to Ringo at the end to do "the bow", just like in the old days!
Can we put them in the Hall Of Fame Twice please
that dude from green day ruined this by showing up
Who were the three that came out in the beginning and kind of took over Paul's microphone?
Is it at all possible for Joan Jett to EVER age?
