The fleas aren’t gonna get on my hands cause I can literally wash my hands after. If you use a rag the eggs and fleas will stick to the rag 🤨 it’s literally the opposite

Dawn is okay. Hartz is also okay but it has had a rep for killing and causing seizures in pets so I’d be a little careful to make sure he doesn’t lick it any of it. I personally use vinegar and witch hazel and spray it on my puppy. And then I get a lice comb and just comb out his hair while he’s under a white towel and then drown the flea. And night I mix water with dish soap and put it under a desk lamp. I have a 5 month old German Shepherd I hope this helps your pitbull

Genesis Curl thanks a lot. I’ve been using it and it’s worked. Vinegar seems to atleast repel them, I live in Florida and fleas are bad almost all year because of the weather, but I do appreciate it. I was using a supposedly natural free spray (forget the name) but I think it might’ve caused my old 17 year old dog’s health to go south and I had to put him to sleep back in September, I can’t prove it tho

@@PitBullet Yea the vinegar helps with repelling the fleas. the witch hazel (for my dog) helps soothe any major itching he’s got. Fleas can’t swim or jump on water so they drown when being put in water. I used hartz and this tea tree oil spray from petco but my puppy had this deal of licking it off and it seemed to make his itching really bad. im glad it helped for your pitbull

@@PitBullet also you mentioned about your pitbull licking off the coconut oil. I recommend giving castor oil a try. its has a bitter taste and helps soothe and moistures my German Shepherds coat.

Do it every week 1-2 days and try using medications if you have too

Id do it every 3-4 days or maybe once a week cause you can dry out their skin/fur. Apple Cider Vinegar (a little) in their water helps them also

I've always used harts ultra guard from Walmart and my two dogs are still alive and happy. But yes, I've heard a lot of bad things about this shampoo. I stopped using it just in case.

My dog used to hateee it and cried all the time. But now my dog is as calm like to dog in the video. I think it's because we gave our dog weekly baths because he got fleas. He got used to it We did baths in the bath tub and outside with a hose. We gave our dog treats if he listened to get in the bath. And we also gave him treats during and after the bath.

Marisol Summers I honestly don’t know how he’s so calm in the shower 😂 but he knows the word “shower” so if I tell him that we’re gonna shower him, he tries to hide and gets scared but then when he gets in the bathroom he knows he can’t do nothing about it so he’s just calm 😂

I just tried this with my Yorkie and it worked great. I noticed it did strip the oil from his hair so the second step may be important to have a shampoo that naturally replaces the oils. I think I am going to do it weekly. He goes outside often but is mostly a lap dog. I think the dawn is smothering the fleas instead of killing them with chemicals. I love this option
