Upload this video again without any background audio, just the "tunes the mill is playing!" If I want to listen to music, I'll watch a music video! If I want to listen to useless commentary, I'll watch a podcast!
Music is terrible!!!
hi sir..i am also belongs to your fraternity, Saw Filer from india..please share your contact number to get discuss and get knowledge about the working procedure being a senior most technical officer... also share videos and books for my reference please
Fascinating. How often do you have to redo that? Im in the UK and i have never seen that process here.
Awesome stuff. Do you have any training or PowerPoints on this?
DOES ANY ONY KNOW WHO MANUFACTERED THIS C FRAME
I can find out I do some maintenance at this mill
This twin is harder then my twin saw. No space on ur chain incline
Me and rough green yellow cedar never got along. If I got to close I would get lung cramps. Some sort of an allergy. A buddy of mine passed out once from exposure to yellow cedar. Once the cedar was dried I was good with it. Years ago KD yellow cedar (2x6 tongue and groove) was used in the manufacture of water tanks (domestic and firefighting0 in high-rise building. Once the cedar absorbed the water it would swell up and make for a no leak tank. You can even drink the domestic water from a yellow cedar tank and not get sick. Not a word of a lie.
I tailed the headrig at an British Columbia sawmill. One nite we hit a rock that was buried 8 inches deep in a 48 inch Douglas Fir log. All holy hell let loose. Saw broke into 6 pieces(bandsaw).
What to see more of that action !!!!
Was that your first day sawing? I almost feel asleep.
grade sawing WRC. A slower process to ensure max grade extraction.
Got to love red cedar , rotten hearts are the norm , must be Democrats lol
8' cedar log ? Might be an 8' band saw . But that log is nowhere near 8' ,unless you meant it was 8' long
Trabalho top
Does it bend teeth like conventional swaging sometimes does ?
Hammond cedar
Damn. I would hate to bench that saw. Let alone swage and sharpen that monster.
Portuguesa
Do the large flinches go to a gangsaw?
A bit slower than I was on the Armstrong pneumatic swager back in the 80's but no more cuts from slipping either.
Hello do you know where can i get a saw like this???16ft
Love watching the process. But sorely wish humans would let trees mature first before cutting them down, such a crime to the planet 🌎
Go wipe your ass with gravel, Cupcake.
Hallo friend, where are you from?
How do we Heat tension circular Saws
That is the worst sawyer I have ever seen. It is like they grabbed someone off the street and told them to saw some lumber.
I didn't read the title right, I thought it said single sawyer.
love to see this..
Dang....that's a big saw
Do ya have cracks in band i do alot here lately
Gullet cracks?
is that YOU Mill-Billy? haha thanks for the face shot! Nice mill too! single cut, but puts out the wood!
yup, dropped from the mother ship. look at all those teeth on that baby! lol she' gonna eat us alive!!!
that's a really nice setup! thanks for showing us! that mill carriage looks built like a tank! thanks again for making and posting this! going to browse your channel..
I'd love to saw that one John....
I’m sure you’d do a fine job of it Lee!
Oh! Gee i loved the grain of that timber thanx for showing it 💩💩💩
Did it with the Armstrong hand swages and shapers for 17 years back in the day. Run two or three Armstrong grinders and swage/shape on another. Shop with at least 15 grinders. Four of us. Learned how to bench those saws. Very fine art. 40 plus years ago. Moved on to a machine shop. Better fun. Great experience. Hard work.
Why do you cut like that
That's a big saw, is it 60 saw? In the mill I file for has 47 foot resaws and 40 foot head saws.
Hello fellows.!!! What kind of saw mill is that??? Thanks.
Hola amigo me interesa saber más sobre el tencionado
Great cutting! Do you use swaged or stellit teeth bandsaw blade?
What in the world happened?

Do you find the saw ridges or dishes on that blue stripe ? I tried this using a torch with the prescribed pressures and using a back and fourth method on the saw plate to get a blue stripe. I have found heat tensioning to be really helpful to fix wrecked saws and extend the life of wore out saws that wont hold tension or back anymore.
Yellow cedar is a beautiful wood with great durability.
That's not 8' diameter, circumference maybe
Oh, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 8 foot, they grow them big up there, that bandmill is probably and 8 or 9 foot mill. Use a 16 inch wide saw 54-60 foot long. Perspective is a bit off when the machinery is also huge. Not many mills run big bandmills like that anymore. Most mills run 5 or 6 foot wheels big ones anymore are 7 foot. You can still get 8 foot mills built, but not many do. 8 foot circumference is only about 2.5 feet diameter, thats the wimpy size logs I cut on my little mill!
