    I didn't see pic of chickens in your chicken. only thing that’s bothering me about this kind of coop, is that the chickens do not have resting bars?

    Not judging anyone but repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The Lord Jesus died and was resurrected on the third day for us so that we might have eternal life through believing in him and obedience to him and the word. Very helpful video. We purchased this setup a year ago also and found the low height a real burden. Too hard to bend down and clean. Ugh. Didn't want to spend anymore upgrading so put the coop in a large 10 x 12 run. Removed the low run. We have 7 clucks and the original run just wasn't big enough. We do let our clucks free range too. In addition, if you have a rooster, as we do, it's just not enough room for them (hens) to find their own space when they need a break from him. Just some food for thought to consider since it's a very expensive purchase. Quality is truly the best though and customer service is phenomenal.

    You know what I find funny? Is that ppl are trying to prepare for the end days, but the end is the end. No matter how much you prepare for an economic collapse, you forget that there’s ppl out their and they know where your food is. People need to stop being scared and start living right.

    Thanks for your video. I got a cube and bought some year old hens to live in it. Do you have any tips on how to get them to learn to go into the coop on their own when the sun goes down? I also got eggs the first day, but some were in coop, but not the nesting box, and some were outside. How to they learn to use the nesting box?

    I was a huge fan of Justin For a while even though I do not believe in killing our chickens. I had to stop following him years ago when he bragged about putting a live chicken in a pen with hogs and watched it get eaten alive. He literally bragged about it being shredded to pieces because he didn’t like the attitude of the bird. That’s why he subjected it to a brutal death. Everyone else on his page follows him never cared about this but I cannot believe the lack of empathy. I also don’t believe that it’s psychologically OK to allow his children to slaughter so many animals at such a young age is exposing them to a solid lack of empathy towards the active killing. I still cannot get over what he did to that chicken and how he bragged about it on his channel years ago it just eats me up inside. I do love your chicken coop and It looks like you’re going to raise your chickens respectfully.

    Ive watched a few Omlet reviews , seems like a great coup that should last many years but noticed that there are no perches for them to sleep on or hop up on anywhere. My chickens love their perch and sleep on it every night.

    I’m glad I came across your channel. You are great at explaining everything. I’ve spent thousands over the years on building coops. I’m over it with wood coops. Heavy, hard to clean, and they just don’t last, plus they look bad over the years. I wish I had purchased this coop set up a couple of years ago instead of putting money into wood to build one. My bad. Your other video is so informative about this coop. You get what you invest in for sure. I’ve even purchased this door to make our lives easier (especially since we are approaching our senior years) and to help our girls. We live in the country, coyote, fox, coons, etc.. I just ordered this coop and it’s taken less than 2 full days to get here! Amazing ship time! Keep posting videos you all do a great job!

    If I could make one suggestion. Rabbits should not have to stand on wire all the time.. A flat board like a 15"x18" piece of plywood (non-treated) per cage would greatly aid in their comfort, and, thereby, in their production.

    Here in the states we can call EGLU owners provided from the company to answer questions about the coop and I have not had one return call so I will ask you. I am concerned if I don't get out early enough to clean under the roost, the chickens will walk through poop to go in to lay their eggs. I have had chickens and I know their poop does not go through those bars without leaving some along the way. How do you deal with that?

    • @shellijury7288
      @shellijury7288 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m also interested to know more about the roosting plate vs actual roasting bars. Seems like the chickens will just be sitting in poop all night since poop doesn’t necessarily fall thru slats. @moonwoodhomestead Would you give more info regarding this?

    You two are adorable together - build that relationship first - check! I appreciate your “good soil” shout out, well done. This year, my 9 year old gardens are morphing into a homestead. The change will be to add veggies (started seeds indoors), a large chicken coop (will also house meat rabbits), and a rainwater harvest system. My homestead gives me a sense of “food security”. Best of luck to you both, and keep dancing in the garden! 🤣

    good video. Same problem down under with rats getting in. They should have a smaller cage wire option for those who have this problem. We have foxes big time in Australia (introduced) and this coop was my only safe option really to have a portable, easy clean set up. I am 67 and maintain an acre myself so it's got to be easy. I have 2 large blue laced red Wyandottes (1 rooster). Big birds and 2 is enough for me. I use them to till my garden. 1 egg a day is fine. Important to check local ordinance re roosters which I am allowed to have one. Thanks for taking the time to film this. - a Californian in semi rural fringe of Melbourne, Australia Australia
