Zermatt to Gornergrat 3089m - Switzerland - September 2016
A daytrip up to Gornergrat is a memory for life. Glorious views of Matterhorn, Breithorn and some more high alp tops.
We took this daytrip to acclimatize for our tour to the top of the Breithorn that we had planned for the next day.

Nice via ferrata in Saillon Switzerland. It connects the Rhone valley with the mountains. The path has three parts with increasing difficulty. A lot of fun for a couple of hours. I walked this with my brother and our friend Peder in september 2016. We started a bit late so it was dark when we returned to our car. Climbing the Breithorn 4165m in September 2016

My brother, me and our friend walked over the glacier to reach the top of Breithorn. The top is 4165 meter over the sea. We had really good weather conditions, only a few occasions with clouds and bad sight. There was some crevasses that we passed and on one spot we heard water stream under the ice below us. Tobotronc Andorra 2015 - The longest alpine coaster in the world!

We tried the fantastic Tobotronc in Andorra. It is the longest alpine coaster in natural surroundings in the world - 5,3 km long!!! No brakes used, which means... Good speed! A really great ride - Enjoy!

Seafishing together with my adventurous friends in Smögen on the westcoast in Sweden. We did not catch any big fish, but a few smaller that tasted very good. This walk was done in October 2014 together with my brother. We started at the hotel down in Riva del Garda. Then we walked to the top of the mountain - Cima SAT, and then down again. My brother and I walked "Sentiero dei Contrabbandieri" in october 2014. The path is located near Riva del Garda by the Garda lake in Italy, below the village Pregasina. Amazing views and a really nice walk on the hillside. The path contains bolts, via ferratas and a nice little wire-ladder. Good to bring your own rope for safety. This isn't just the world's longest alpine coaster, it's the world's longest roller coaster period. The record could only possibly be broken by another alpine coaster. Andora deserves more recognition for being home to the world's longest roller coaster.

Fantastic! As a munro bagger looking to climb my firstbpeak outside of the UK (my first real experience at high altitude) I think this looks like a great gateway into higher peaks!
Looks like Yous took Klein Matterhorn cable car which get You to over 3,820 m. No much climbing been involved then

how long a rope is needed?
We used a 30 to 40m rope. You need enough length to have 2 or 3 bolts between the personsons walking. You should not have only one bolt in-between.

Hi , nice video, is true that, there is a refuge in the base of the peak ?
You can take the cable lift from Zermatt up to Klein Matterhorn. It is the base for the walk up to Breithorn peak. Klein Matterhorn has some services but I dont know exactly what they offer there.

The Breithorn is probably the easiest 4000m summit, but at least, you did it. Nice job.
what route did you climb up and down ?
Hi Sile H, We started from Klein Matterhorn. I think it's called the standard route. Walked over the glacier. Climbed the 35 degree slope up to the summit. Then we continued a bit towards the other lower summits and turned right and walked down and came back and rejoined to the route we started from. Clockwise.

Thankyou for posting your video of climbing the Breithorn. This takes me back over 30 years when I first climbed the Breithorn, freezing temps, windy, scudding clouds and I kept thinking "what the hell am I doing hanging on the side of this mountain", just made it back to the top of the Klein Matterhorn cable station with 1 minute to spare for the last cable car for the day. I have climbed many of the peaks in the Bernese Oberland and Zermatt areas but now getting too old. The majority of people in the world will never experience these dizzying heights so keep it going guys, it keeps you fit!!
