Solving a Real Life Word Problem by the ELIMINATION Method!
In this video, Mr. Dobrescu uses a System of Equations to solve, step by step, a Real Life Word Problem by the Elimination Method. First, he sets up a System of Linear Equations with the information from the Problem, and then he uses Elimination to get rid of one of the variables in order to solve for the remaining variable. Finally, he substitutes that variable into one of the original equations to solve for the other variable and get to the solution.
