FIRST COMMENT! YAY! :D FUTURAMA!
For some reason I got recommended your video! Have a blessed and wonderful day! :)
The symbol of the company shown at the top of spine is my Chinese bootleg comp0any of choice. Don't over think it, dude...
Okay where did he find x Men 97 at
I understand your plight hun, I think they may try to phase out physical media with the exception of books maybe, readers are a minority, but I myself are also a complete tionist so I understand the sentiment but I want everything legit no bootlegs. I'm not riding in the pop up shop with larry any more lawl. (=
Where did you order this from?
Completely agree on the appearance. i too bought the same bootleg for display
You could, of course adjust the cover art to fit by opening the case most or all the way and then adjusting the cover art as needed to fit behind the clear plastic of the outer case... 🤔 💭 ✨️ 👍 Thank you for the video. Mine didn't include the DC codes either...and just sent a message SDS asking for a replacement. Hopefully that works, or I'm going to be in contact next with the vendor I bought my copy from (Target in my case) about a return. All the best! 😉 👍 -Alan

I NEEDD THIS OMG. I’ve been wanting both We’re All Going to the World’s Fair and I Saw the TV Glow blurays since I Saw the TV Glow!!! I NEEED THEM LOL
i fold the j cards in half and put them inside. beautiful steels! I have the Amazon UK and Italy versions. The UK version has embossing on both sides!
There is a Seinfeld 1080P Widescreen Blu-Ray collection and limited release 4K Ultra HD 4:3 aspect collection dropping on December the 17th. Seinfeld was shot on 35mm film so they were rescanned from the uncropped negatives. Blu-Ray is $150 and the 4K collection will be $250. This was announced in the last couple of days.
I learned this two days after I shot this video 😂 I'll upgrade to 4K at some point, probably when I have more money lol
oh man if you want to see the best orson welles movies you should check out touch of evil and the lady from shanghai
Thanks! I'll add those to my wishlist.
Bet you’re a big Kramer fan!
i put my j cards i a box, i dont keep the on the steelbook. i like being able to see both sides of artwork
For people wondering where to buy this, a Redditor gave me the EAN which I used to track it down on Amazon. Check this link and snag a copy when someone else decides to export it out of Japan: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072C3X329
Oh wow, where did you get this? I have Seasons 1-6 on Blu-ray which I bought from Amazon Japan years ago and had them shipped to the UK however I can’t find this release in stock anywhere or anywhere that ships to the UK, specifically Northern Ireland. Seasons 7, 8 & Live Another Day all got official Blu-ray releases here in the UK which I own so I do have everything now except for Redemption.
I put the link in the pinned comment! I have no idea if the people selling it will export it to the UK though, I live in the States.
First off, where did you buy this? So hard to find. Also, this Blu-Ray doesn't have the extended cut sadly. Sad reason why the DVD must be kept in the collection.
That's a good catch! I did already give away the DVD but I bought the whole series on iTunes when it was on a steep discount so I do still have the extended version in HD. I put the link in the pinned comment if you wanna get your own copy
Good morning. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the name above all names & the only way to Heaven❤
Tianna Parkway
How do the dvd’s play? Is the quality legit?
Elektra❤
Fun and informative unboxing, i must say) tnx!
The disc hub falling out is not faulty. It was (in my opinion, stupidly) designed that way. I bought the complete series of 'Sons Of Anarchy' and it has that same horrible design, so, I just created individual season custom sleeves and put each one in a stand-alone multi-disc case to replace this awful style of packaging.
"like proper people". Soooo, am I less "proper" because I'm English? I hope you can sense my sarcasm.
Where did you get the French bluray at?
I believe "synergy" might be the term you were looking for? I've made many custom blu-ray sleeves, and slipcovers, utilising alternate imagery. Quite a few for Criterion titles, and as Criterion always have inside art, I too did inside art on my alternate sleeves. I get what you mean about disliking when the discs cover up that inside art, and, in my recent ones I made with alternate art for 'Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai', 'Deep Cover', 'Blood Simple', Risky Business' and 'Bound', i made sure to have the inside art only on the left side of the inside. Of the titles mentioned, 'Risky Business' and 'Bound' alternate sleeves are the only ones highlighted on channel, and, for what it's worth, I think 'Bound' is the nicest alternate Criterion sleeve I've done to date. I made a really nice alternate sleeve and slipcover too for 'Training Day', and the inside of that sleeve has a nice panoramic shot of Denzel and Ethan Hawke pictured on the far left, so they're in view when the case is opened, and the rest, under the disc, is just blue sky. 'Taxi Driver' and 'Fight Club' are others I done with the same layout design, but they're not Criterion titles, but, still fits with your point about inside artwork.
best film of 2023 imo
Got a supporter in me man. Keep it up.
TRUMP 2024
Good Video. Thanks !
I have to say....."Bamboozled" is PHENOMENAL!! I absolutely love Spike Lee's work and although it didn't move me like "Do The Right Thing" or "Malcolm X" did, it certainly is one of his best films.
Not a bad selection there. I do love me some Hitchcock. Also, check out "Notorious" from him. You'll never look at "Mission: Impossible II". You'll never look at "Mission: Impossible II" the same way again.
I was highly impressed with 'To Sleep With Anger'. It's a beautifully told story, very moving and powerful too. Perfect presentation from Criterion too.
breakfast club is a wonderful film. hoping it gets a 4k release soon considering its already got a 4k scan done.
I did not know this, thanks! I'll keep an eye out for it.
The 39 Steps (along with The Lady Vanishes) is probably the best of Hitchcock's British period, before he went to Hollywood, though it IS *very* (pre-WWII) British, so can appear strangely dated today, but there are so many great set-pieces in it. From his American films I would recommend checking out Vertigo, Psycho, The Birds, Strangers On A Train and North by North-West.
We down here at the pharmacy couldn't agree more slumberwall!
I've heard good things about Vertigo, and Psycho is already on my watchlist. Thanks for the other recommendations!
Ah "Thunderbolt" if I'm not mistaken I think this is the first film with sound that delved into the gangster genre. George Bancroft leads the way with Fay Wray as well, who was immortalized in RKO's "King Kong" just a few short years later in 1933. I have that exact blu-ray as well and I'm happy that I do. Kino has done a decent job with it, but for 1929, it's not bad. My only real criticism of the film is that there are an over abundance of prison scenes to me, but like I mentioned before it's not that bad despite the elementary storytelling and the basic nature of the plot. Keep up the good work.
I love what you're doing, keep up the good work. I have the same blu-ray from Criterion. "A Raisin in the Sun" is wonderful. What a poetic performance from the late great Sidney Poitier and also Louis Gossett Jr. has a small minor role in that film that is memorable as well. I love the film adaptation, so good. Like I said, keep up the good work, and do you have any other interest in any different labels such as Kino Lorber, Arrow, or Vinegar Syndrome? I really just collect films that I enjoy, regardless of labels, but some like Criterion and Kino Lorber do awesome work on restorations and all.
I LOVE Kino Lorber! They do a great job at releasing older movies in the highest available quality, and I like the touch they tend to do of using the original promotional artwork for their slipcovers. I don't have a huge interest in the other labels, but I plan on buying seasons 1 and 2 of Hatifum (Prisoners of War) from Arrow Video soon! I likewise collect by title rather than by label, but I've found some interesting titles by browsing Criterion Collection's list of releases. The problem with the other labels is that they produce so many more releases that that's literally impossible to do lol
