The Mad Jock and the Horny Mini 30,
This is the Wife`s Mini 30 it`s been laid up for the Last seven years It spent about 5 years languishing in the back of my Box trailer on the drive way ,any way last year I decided it had been neglected long enough ,so decide to do a Full Nut and Bolt Restoration ,the aim is to do as much as I can do my self .I am a Plumber by Trade so no Mechanic but have tinkered all my adult life as I couldn`t afford garage prices ,so it will be a major learning curve But I relish the challenge ,so I hope I can give the viewers an insight into the fun and games involved in restoring a Classic Mini.Regards Peter. a.k.a The Mad Jock

Quick Update as I`ve not had time to do much on Arnie for the past couple of weeks ,so manage dto get the ladder back on and the bike rack which is no longer going to be a bike rack but probably a jerry can carrier instead .

A Few issues to resolve this week ,one on the mini the dreaded oil leak is getting worse but still can`t find it ,also removing the awning and fitting some usb charger sockets

How long would it take a spi 1,3 engine out with auto box
Never done an spi but pretty much the same process, depends on ability and experience but should be more than doable in a day
Top rocker switch on the seat moves it back and forth to allow more room getting into the back of a two door. All the best for the coming year

Nice one Peter, I've used a kit identical to this for years and I've done a lot of my neighbours tyres too. All my cars and bike has this kit in them and never once has it ever leaked!
I'd heard of them Sean but never used one, was really surprised how good they were
@madjockprojects7707 I got a puncture on my Morris Marina in 2009 and the guy who done our recovery work repaired my tyre with this method and he told me about it and ever since then I've always has a kit. My moto set up has tiny compressed air cannisters to quickly inflate a soft tyre. I must have saved hundreds of pounds over the years as £20 a pop eventually adds up!

Peter, The Camper is looking the nuts and the roof rack is the business. Hard to believe that rust started on the rear bumpers already 🤔 I still think you need to contact Milka Chocolate company and get some sponsorship as the colours are bob on from there wrappers 😉🤣😂 Cheers Dave

Peter, Good to see it out of the paint shop. It will certainly turn some heads as it‘s a very unusual colour combo. The bottom line is Sandra & you are happy with it and that‘s all that counts. Getting a decent paint shop’s hard just now, took me a few months to get one sorted and they had the mini for another couple of months. Hopefully you’ll get the van back soon👍
