How disappointing for you (and us who have more Cunard cruises booked). The dancing, absence of poorly behaved children and great standard of food etc are all part of the unique Cunard experience. They will lose custom in droves to other luxury lines with much better experience and value for money. People vote with their feet and will go elsewhere unless significantly improve.

I was on the Queen Mary 2 for 20 days in October/November 2022. My first time on her had been in 2018. Quite a difference. In 2022, the food for me was still superb, as is the ship. and the staterooms. However, Cunard has discontinued SO MANY of the little elegant touches that made Cunard SO SPECIAL. My stateroom was wonderful, and my attendant was great. But the overall experience is just not the same. Cunard has definitely lowered their standards of operation. Now that men are no longer required to wear a collared shirt in the public areas of the ship, I saw guys wearing teeshirts around the ship, in the Commodore Club, and wearing baseball caps at afternoon tea. I don't know if I'll sail Cunard again. It's a shame.

I would not say dated at all - it's just had a refit and the decor is fresh and classic, in keeping with the brand.

Definitely -fantastic service and the food was excellent throughout the voyage. The only thing which left something to be desired was the entertainment.
