That course was a surprise. Played on the way back from the US Open qualifier and I played it at the very back of the longest tees. Took about three holes to clue in that it was a ripper of a challenge. Had a chance to chat with the super and some of the crew who all knew how tough it could play. One of them let me know it was designed by the daughter or niece of Pete Dye and through that connection likely had to hold true to the Dye namesake. Not a casual track for the average golfer, be prepared for some tears.

Just glad they made it easier. I've played it when it was built. Was crazy crazy hard

They forgot to mention all the gray haired liberals pretending to be woke.

I'm hoping to move to bainbridge island, wa. I'm ready for this type of peace and quiet.

I grew up on Bainbridge Is. 5 acers on West port madison Rd. My family's property bordered a part of The Bloedel Reserve. As young kids we used to sneak through the woods on our ponies and ride on the beautifully manicured trails near the mansion. As much as we feared getting in trouble , we never did . I'll never forget how beautiful His property was. Also this is where I saw for the first time a naked statue that appeared to be peeing in the pond. I remember after seeing that statue we thought we better get outta here and ran our ponies as fast as the could go back home. This was in the mid 70S . I don't think it was a reserve yet and pretty sure Mr.Bloedel was still living there.

its a sad place for me as I miss going there to buy wonderful rare plants and meet the people that came from all around the world. Martha Stewart was a regular .And of course, view the gardens... I went there the day the Burpee company locked everyone out including the employees...a lesson I learned is, if you see something you want, don't wait until tomorrow...I had been there the week before with a friend...and hadn't gotten all I had wanted... it's wonderful still, but not the same....

Shhhh....don’t tell anyone how great it is here...haha.

how come this is the first I've heard of this island? I've been in CA my whole life never heard of it I guess it's the Mandela Affect but glad people are enjoying it and having fun :)

It was a land that was taken from my ancestors. It was where we lived before we were moved to the reservation across the bay, and was supposed to be given back promptly after the mill closed, but complications have arised and the government didn't honor the treaty. The spirits Will become angry soon as a result, I suggest leaving and never returning
