Is that what Devon & Somerset FRS are calling baby fire engines these days? Because an RIV has always been a small and fast airport firefighting vehicle.
This is one of many RIVs here in Devon & Somerset FRS! They are based in at our rural fire stations 👍

I wonder how durable those light IVECO pumps are. I appreciate for rural fire and rescue services with mainly retained stations with few call outs, they are probably an economical solution. Merseyside trialled a Mercedes light pump as a second turn. Fully kitted it proved underpowered with heavy and vague steering. It was sold to Cheshire who repurposed it as a rapid response motorway rescue unit.
To be honest I could not tell you about the specifications of appliances or what not, I would like to know more about them 😆 I will be no help for knowing any of this yet 😂
