The methods is primarily for study purpose to get sample data But some areas give relatively fine data But for a design of a road brother we need those actual ground elevations from your topo survey 😂😂😂

Hello prossy the use of this data supplements the data you obtained in field so other than extrapolating or interpolating to obtain heights in locations you didn't reach this is actually a reliable source to provide data for use We can test it together from your field of work collect NEZ share the NE with me I pass it through the software and share the z(elevation) and we compare to see the error

Sorry to ask but in which case would you require to use elevations of a built area We basically use heights on free ground during topo surveying If the area is built then it's first graded to form uniform ground We use the data obtain to reduce the levels and Carryout designing in the early stages of construction

bro nice tutorial. I have a question , do you know how to extract the name of the place from the google map and transfer it into qgis? , so that i will have my attribute table more informative like , Location , coordinate , and elevation ? i would like to have these 3 elements in my attribute
You can go ahead and export your kml layer to csv in qgis and modify the table to 4 attributes name, n, e, z If you need elaboration I will create a tutorial for you
