Yellow colour itself is light and not shared by others in nature. Therefore is more STRIKING. "Yellow No 1" Among colours except for black light shades are awesome Yellow itself is light and stands apart as No 1 Light blue colour of sky in nature is shared by colourless water reflection So also the green colour shared by trees and hills, often busy in conversation Light Blue and Light Green though beautiful Can't render CONTRAST in nature and are less joyful Yellow flowers are UNIQUE Gives 100 percent contrast not shared by others in nature with yellow technique Yellow is No 1 and has DUAL advantage Reflects maximum light and gives 100 percent contrast and never ages Wonderful Day

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi there! Thanks for reaching out about your Asian Snow jasmine. Pruning is Key: Regular pruning encourages bushier growth. Aim to prune your Asian Snow jasmine 2-3 times a year, particularly after flowering cycles. You can cut back leggy stems by up to one-third of their length. Don't be afraid to prune more heavily if needed. Make clean cuts just above a healthy bud or leaf node. This will encourage new growth from those points.

    I have my seeds planted and indoors as i live in ireland which is not soo warm weather all year round ..can u give me a tip how to be successful as soon as they germinate please ??

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sure! To help your cayenne pepper seeds germinate successfully indoors, ensure they are kept in a warm and consistently moist environment. You can use a seedling heat mat to maintain a temperature of around 70-80°F (21-27°C), which helps promote germination. Additionally, cover the seed tray with a clear plastic lid or plastic wrap to maintain humidity levels. Once the seeds sprout, gradually introduce them to light and continue to keep the soil evenly moist, but not waterlogged. Good luck with your cayenne peppers!

It produces long, cascading stems that can spill over the edges of pots or hanging baskets, making it perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your indoor or outdoor spaces. Help! My Dragon Prince was doing well, but now half of it died! After watching several videos, I think I might have one, overwatered and two, it was in a container with the half next to the house probably didn’t get enough sun. What do you think and what should I do? Thanks!

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm sorry to hear about your Dragon Prince! Overwatering and insufficient sunlight are definitely two potential culprits for what you're describing. Here's what you can do: First, take a close look at the plant. The healthy half will likely have green, firm needles. The dead half will probably have brown or brittle needles. Unfortunately, the dead part of the plant won't recover. You can prune away the dead branches using sharp shears, making clean cuts just above healthy growth points. Continue to monitor your plant and provide proper watering and sunlight. With proper care, the healthy half of your Dragon Prince should continue to thrive.

    • @terramatergardens

      That is a good question, they are both in the mint family, but aren't closely related. Cat whiskers do emit a fragrance, but it's quite different from lavender's scent. Cat whiskers often have a subtler, earthier aroma, while lavender is known for its floral, calming fragrance.

    Is this wormwood and wormwood afra the same which is better for ysing essential oils and tea?

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      They're closely related, but not quite the same: Wormwood: This usually refers to Artemisia absinthium, commonly used for absinthe and some bitters. It has a strong, potentially toxic component called thujone. Not recommended for essential oils or tea due to thujone content. Wormwood Afra (African Wormwood): This is Artemisia afra, known for its medicinal uses in Africa. It has a lower thujone content and is considered generally safer for teas and sometimes essential oils (when diluted properly).

    I love these things because theyre more helpful than unhelpful because they help cycle tanks they can be food for peace puffers assasin snails and other things that eat snails also they are a amazing indicator of over feeding if you feed to much then theyll breed like rabbits

    • @terramatergardens
      @terramatergardens 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You're absolutely right! Bladder snails can be beneficial in a few ways: Tank Cycling: They contribute to the breakdown of waste products which can aid in establishing a healthy tank cycle. Food Source: As you mentioned, they can be a good food source for pea puffers, assassin snails, and other snail-eating creatures. Overfeeding Indicator: Their rapid reproduction can indeed be a sign of excess food in the tank. However, it's important to be aware of some potential downsides as well: Overpopulation: Bladder snails can reproduce very quickly, and if left unchecked, their population can explode. This can lead to competition for resources with other tank inhabitants and affect the overall tank aesthetics. I have some other videos I am working on about Bladder snails on my other channel coming soon!
