Farewell to the 01200 Series Hawkers | Old Orange Line cars pre shutdown
Seen here is a compilation of the Hawker cars all over the orange line before the shutdown. Their last run was August 19th, 2022. It’s wild to think that these cars are finally gone. I’ll miss their wonky chime and the nostalgia they bring.

MBTA Routes 39 and 66 on Diversion at Brookline Avenue and Francis Street
มุมมอง 9022 ปีที่แล้ว
Due to a man hole fire on Huntington Avenue, so 39s and 66s had to take an interesting diversion. The 39 took a brief visit into Brookline, and the 66 diversion is actually the proposed route for bus network redesign! In this video is also a ride video on a Neoplan on the 39! Hope you all enjoy!

Lechmere Shuttle Full Ride | Joesph’s Transportation Gillig Advantage #1603
In late 2007, the MBTA announced that it had contracted with Breda to deliver another 10 cars and the MBTA had them put into service by December 2008. This brought the fleet to 95 production cars and five spare shells retained and stored in Orient Heights (formerly stored in Everett). 3894 was 12 years old in December 2020.
Nice
Well now some 7s have been converted to work cars
What was the LRV that was orange and white?
Hearing the sound of that RTS man the memories that bus still sounds powerful as hell i remember riding 0309 plenty of times in revenue service that was one of the better RTS buses in the MBTA fleet easily
I was on the first ride on the new orange to the casino.....very blah
4:37 May you rest in peace,CT1,you have served the Boston Medical Center Untill 2019,may you rest In Peace.
December 15, 2023: 1128’s rebuild isn’t being performed at BET. It was sent down on a Middleboro Extra 12/14 along with the 2011. There was a note stating that the 1128 is “going off property” so quite possible heading out on CSX. I’m 100% sure that Altoona Works in Altoona, PA will be rebuilding the 1128. Would be nice if it could go to mpi, but I’m definitely positive that it’s not going there for rebuild. December 24, 2023: The 1128 was indeed sent to Altoona Works, arrived there on CSX this afternoon. Hope to have it back by late October or early November of next year. When 1128 returns to MBTA property, guarantee you 100% that it’ll be in the “lighting bolt” scheme like 1117 and 1138. Strange that 1128 is going off property but the other GP40s are being rebuilt either in-house at BET or in Rochester at MC Area 52.
Nice mid-summer train action at Waltham especially catching those two freshly rebuilt F40PH-3Cs. Too bad, Waltham has a Revoked Quiet Zone where Engineers in the cabs of Locomotives can’t sound the horns when entering the station.
December 29, 2020 recap: 1031 - Was the last unit to be completed at Boise. 1035 - Was the last to leave Boise on its own wheels, but not completed. Went direct to Erie. Followed by the 1025, 1026 (2/08/20), 1058 (9/29/20) & 1069 (3/08/20). 1057, 1060, 1064, 1065 & 1074 plus one unknown unit were shipped on flatcars Boise to Erie. 1025, 1026, 1064, 1066 & 1069 shells plus one unknown unit sent to Curry Rail for car body work. 1074 is also on its way home and was spotted in ny on December 27th and was in vr’s latest grab bag. MBTA F40 Status Update 10/6/20: There are 16 F40s in service that haven’t been rebuilt to F40PH-3C: 6 non-rebuilds remain (1027, 1034, 1052, 1059, 1067, 1070) 2 Pan Am rebuilds remain, although 1056 may be the next one leaving for MPI (1056, 1062) 8 in-house rebuilds remain (1029, 1030, 1033, 1036, 1053, 1055, 1071, 1072) There are 10 F40s that have been rebuilt to F40PH-3C: 1028, 1031, 1032, 1035, 1050, 1054, 1061, 1063, 1068, 1075 There are 11 F40s that are off MBTA property being rebuilt to F40PH-3C by MPI (listed in order of when they will be returning) 1074, 1057, 1065, 1060, 1066, 1064, 1051, 1025, 1026, 1069 1058

Atleast change the title to not show hornshow
hornshow? its called a crossing sequence lol
I used to ride theses when i was 4
Looks like a Mears Transportation reject XD40 at 4:05. It still has the blue scheme matching the units they use for Universal Orlando service.
12:27 that 51 bus confused me for so long, but I realized later that it was at Brookline high, and the 51 was one of those MBTA buses that act as a school bus for high schools.
Ahh the MBTA’s Iconic CNG powered NABI 40-LFWs theses were one of the greatest buses to ever operate on the streets of the Boston area Not only were they Iconic but they were also more Environmental Friendly The Fact that they ran on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) instead of Diesel Fuel like most buses in Massachusetts today help keep the air quality cleaner allowing for much cleaner air which made them useful for operating in the Streets of Boston However after the MBTA bought 175 CNG powered NFI XN40s from New Flyer saw all of these Famous buses Retired by 2017 even Worse all of them were Scrapped and not a single one was saved for Preservation Nevertheless even though they are all gone they will still hold a Big Roll the History of MBTA bus Operations R.I.P. MBTA CNG NABI 40-LFW buses You all will be missed

I hope this doesn't happen when the type 9's start working on the mattapan line.
btw that 1208 fleet is a 28 originally ive been on it
Very interesting video since it sure brings back a lot of fond T Commuter Rail memories dating back to mid-NOV '91 when I was riding w/ one of my older female cousins between Brandeis to Porter. Anyway, please keep up the great work showing these awesome videos of our amazing transformation from diesel to electric to help reduce traffic congestion & emissions, respectively. Beth Budner, Auburndale, MA!
Hopefully, some more frequent T Commuter Rail trains on the Framingham/Worcester line to help reduce wide scheduling gaps (i.e. Wellesley Hills after my future fun YomSport events @ McDowell Field in the above town going forward). Beth
The Type 7 is so cool. They are shaped like Japanese inspired PCC streetcars.
That’s a 50G with a ZF isn’t it?
Yes, but an Alison.
Yes, it is! Beth
So far, so good! Beth
Thank You seeing this makes me happy, the last time I saw them was on 1 at Harvard 2017. Sadly all 299 buss Scrapped out of existence
Hopefully, we can continue cracking down on the "status quo" approach which is unacceptable so we can prevent these above frustrating T bus service scenarios (i.e. Late or dropped service) situations from recurring again. Beth Budner, Auburndale, MA!
Hmm! Just out of curiosity here, which direction is this T Commuter Rail train heading to? NB from W. Warwick, R.I. to Boston, MA? Beth
My only suggestion for the future going forward is specifying which direction our Commuter Rail trains are heading to so both our loyal passengers & video watching fans & I have a much clearer view of where we're headed to (i.e. Back Bay or South STA in Boston, MA). Beth Budner, Auburndale, MA!
You captured Southampton Street Yard, very nice. I did come here to find last Neoplan DMA-AN460LF 1120, which I did. Although that area is dangerous it's drug addict area, I got chased by one. Be Careful but hey nice video brings me back when D40LF's were in Boston sadly they now operate in Quincy, Lynn, Medford, Everett, Revere, Winchester, Wobrun and Burlington
The last time I rode these was some point in 2017 on Shuttle from Park Street to Kendall/MIT. RIPS NABI CNG 2003-2017
So far, so good chronicling some of the T's busses that often tend to break down & run late, respectively. Uh-oh! Beth Budner, Auburndale, MA!
It won't be the same without them
Goodbye. Haymarket Busway😔😭😢😟😞🪦🪦
Please come back and post
they dont let u railfan at DC union ( or at least they dont let me )
Now the old Chelsea station already closed. I just saw the old Chelsea station already removed one side of the platform that goes to Newburyport or Rockport. The old Chelsea station was 1985 - 2021 and it was not a accessible. Now the old Chelsea station would not stop there anymore. Now the new Chelsea station is fully accessible station. Now it already moved to Terminus of SL3 nearby Market Basket.
Chelsea station already moved to near by Market Basket in Chelsea, Massachusetts. It located in 174 Everett Avenue. new Chelsea station opened 11/15/2021. There are 3 new MBTA stations that are open is Amory Street, Babcock Street and finally, Chelsea. Now the old Chelsea station near by Bellingham Square on the Silver Line already permanently closed. The old Chelsea station replace by the new Chelsea station. Amory Street on the Green Line replace by Saint Paul Street and Boston University West stations. the new Babcock Street on the Green Line replace by Pleasant Street and the old Babcock Street. That's all for it.
I was able to get a shot of the 1507 red line car coming into Central Square. There are only 22 of the 1969-1970 Pullman-Standard cars in service, so it was pretty cool to see.
I remember seeing these everywhere. It’s such a shame that it’s been shut down.
I hate the look of the new ones, thanks for posting this.
0:09 i've never seen the T stack words on the display and i wish i didn't
Nice Video. Great Job. But Sure it hasn't been the same since RTS Buses got kicked to the curb
The way how the enclosure is shaped, it looks like an XN60 which I kind of wish the MBTA had gotten. Hi, I’m Rondell Greene nice to meet you!
Does anybody know why there is 3 tracks in sullivian square?
Is there any 1400s? For XDE40
The last time I rode them was in 2019. The last time I saw them was in 2022 on route 90.
I miss these its been a long time since I have ridden one because of the retirement.. I will miss these the 01400s are ass
2:30 Thank you for giving us that shot of the beautiful tracks gracefully allowing passage for these magnificent vehicles!
