I wonder if it would work on a WEN inverter generator.
Unfortunately, IPI Industries currently does not have a system to work with the WEN generators.
I have the bigger brother to your generator. The EU 7000is. Mine is a 240 volt fuel injected inverter generator. I get about 18 hours of run time out of the 5 gallon fuel tank on the generator. The auxiliary tank adds another 22 hours of run time for a total of about 40 hours. The aux tank is a game changer for me because it allows me more time between refills. I often have to work suicide shifts at work restoring power to customer homes & often don’t make it back in time to refill my generator. This set up allows that refuel time to be extended. Nice demo & great set up!

I’ve been looking at this set up. Have heard there are issues with the cap fitting on the generator. Any issues you have experienced? Thanks in advance
We have not heard of any issues with the cap fitting. This should be obvious however we are going to state that not all Honda models (or different manufacturers) use the same filler cap. The Honda 3200 cap will not work on the Honda 2200 and the Powerhorse 2300 will not work on the Honda 2200, so on and so forth. The key is making sure you have right system for your generator and then making sure you are following the manufacturers operational instructions.
Does the tank need to be elevated?
BERGS I Gravity Feed is designed to work with generators that do not have a built in fuel pump. With the gravity feed systems the external gas tank has to be elevated above the generator in order for the system to function.
The small EU2000 and EU2200 type Honda generators have fuel pumps and do not need the feeding tank to be elevated. I made my own version of this type of system over 20 years ago and found that the tank ran fine sitting on the ground which offers several safety advantages.

There is no need to elevate the BERG tank because it does not depend on gravity but displacement. First fill the genny tank then you’re good to go.
The only systems that do not need to be elevated above the generator are the Honda 2000,2200,7000is, Ryobi 2200, and new Yamaha 2200. All other systems need to have the gas tank elevated above the generator. If your generator does not have a fuel pump on board the system needs to be elevated.
Something which enables extended running of one's generator, whilst preventing fuel leakage and spillage is good! That win-win feeling!

Yes it will work in either direction.
Love my cradle bracket! When installing I leave a 1/16" play to avoid any strain on the uplift motor. Apply some rubberized non skid tape to protect and cushion the motor as mentioned in video.
